Recorded from December 1957 (the film was released in theaters in March 1958) it is one of the rarest and most eagerly awaited soundtracks. For the first time all the recorded material appears. From 1 to 22 the material never released on record, from 23 to 28 the songs that were released on LP in 1958.
The soundtrack is one of the first to use jazz music in a new language (Piccioni was the first with Trovajoli to insert jazz music pieces into film scenes starting from 1952) but here, it underlines the feelings of the characters, anticipating by some month, the first film entirely with jazz music, "I Soliti Ignoti" by Piero Umiliani.
Here you can listen to the maestro, in solo piano as in the songs "Al Night" or the romantic "un piano nella sera" or "Swingando N.2" which takes us back to the beginning of Piccioni's career, when from 1937 to 1940, he performed solo piano on the Italian Radio, the first musician to do so in Italy, playing syncopated music (the word jazz was prohibited by the fascist regime).
Apart from this, there are moments that every Piccioni "fan" waits for:

Registrata nel dicembre del 1957 (il film uscì nelle sale nel marzo del 1958), è una delle colonne sonore più rare e attese. Per la prima volta appare tutto il materiale registrato. Da 1 a 22 il materiale mai pubblicato su disco, da 23 a 28 i brani che uscirono su LP nel 1958.
La colonna sonora è una delle prime a utilizzare la musica jazz in un nuovo linguaggio (Piccioni fu il primo con Trovajoli a inserire brani di musica jazz nelle scene dei film a partire dal 1952) ma qui sottolinea i sentimenti dei personaggi, anticipando di qualche mese, il primo film interamente basato su musica jazz, “I Soliti Ignoti” di Piero Umiliani.
Qui si può' ascoltare il maestro, in piano solo come nei brani "Al Night" o il romantico " un pianoforte nella sera" o "Swingando N.2" che ci riporta all'inizio della carriera di Piccioni, quando dal 1937 al 1940 si esibiva alla Radio italiana in piano solo, primo musicista a farlo in Italia, suonando musica sincopata,(la parola jazz era proibita dal regime fascista).
A parte questo, ci sono momenti che ogni "fan" di Piccioni aspetta:
