"Go slower than you can think, which for me is quite slow." Awesome advice!
Very skillful, well done. In the days when my wife and I were yachting we used the "whoops, sorry" method of getting out of our berth.
The legend, John Mendez, returns !!!
Great stuff.
You're back! I thoroughly enjoy your instructional videos. More please.
Just stumbled upon your channel. Great video, instant sub. Trying to learn as much as possible on the very slight chance of upgrading from my kayak one day.
Great video, Jon.
Those are useful tips for twin outdrive boat owners like me, too. Hope you are well.
Another Great video from John Mendez. I really get a lot out of the areal shots and the helm insert shots. You really cover all the angels! Keep the video's coming!! Regards from the USA!
Hi John just love all your how to videos
Hi John, nice to see you again mate, great 👍🏼 video as usual.
Keep posting them,
Never fed up✨✨✨✨✨
YOU MAKE IT LOOKS SO EASY !!!!! Thanx for sharing. :)
Its nice to see someone who knows how to use single engine boat without thruster, nice video.
Hi John, really nice work, Regards from Marbella Spain.
Great skill and useful tips. Thanks for sharing, John!
Fabulous video John really informative top bloke
One again John fabulous info
Cheers John. Great video
Great tip thanks mate
That new intro you have is absolutely epic lads!
Fantastic video!!!!!
Hello John, Thanks for the video.
This video should be made compulsory viewing, for anyone buying a motor boat.
Thank you John, you made that look so easy! No what about if you had both a bow and stern thruster, any difference in aiding you? Many thanks.
+Motor Boat &Yachting,
John Mendes! Why has it been SO LONG??? Not acceptable!😂 Great to see you back doing these videos! Someone needs to speak to Hugo! More instruction vids more often!! @Hugo Andreas!!!
Interesting video. This week one engine striked during our travel. So I was happy to have a second engine.
It is nice insurance.
Love it, a bit of nohow is great thanks mate.
Thanks Lars, glad you enjoyed it
Great informative video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
this dude knows how to controll a boat damn
Very good
great video!, can you do a video of how to dock and come along side in a single engined boat
Yes, with no bow thruster and in a cross wind.
You're in luck - that's coming next month!
@@alberthowes3639 now you're talking! Anyone that's had to do that knows quite well what manner of sorcery and prayer it takes to make it! 🤣
Very clear instructions, good emphasis on wheel before gear, but there was so little wind. I'd love to see you repeat this in a stiff breeze and with no bow thruster - been there, and it was a real mess the first time!
The fundamentals are the same. What you have to do is to progressively adjust your mind to a bit more challenging conditions each time. 🚢
Mooi man
nice anchor
Thanks
Ah bon ! Pratique ! ;-)
This intro music would be a great ring tone.
Good day captain. What kind of propultion this boat has? Is it shaft or inboard outboard unit?
Thanks nice vid, would be helpfull to see a stern in video with a bit of wind single engine with no thrusters?
Thanks Steven, glad you liked it! We'll be covering mooring in a single-engined boat next month...
Great video, but how come you guys don't do any docking how to's with smaller boats, that maybe the average person owns.
should have included coming back onto the mooring!
Out is easy. Coming in is more trouble 😉
We've covered that too... czcams.com/video/0wRLUl7BkmY/video.html
Norwegian brand :)
Probably quite hard for a novice
Really I understood but u have a big problem when u record manoeuvre ur focus only out u dont put focus on clutch v important for give me how I controlling my vessel for twisting the aft how I catch the aft at going quickly put focus pls on ur hand clutch thx
What's the name of the boat?
We used a Marex 310 Sun Cruiser for this video
@@MotorBoatYachting thank you😊
Yeah, but try that without using the thrusters...
steer before gear Jon.
If you can't manoeuvre a boat with single or twin engines with or without thrusters, or then again with a joystick then just don't bother just take an RYA course before you drop money on a boat putting other craft at risk.
Duh.
There’s a bow thruster. Thot this was only a single engine…
single-engined boat-means not to use bow thruster.
Thrusters are cheating...JS
I do this whit a 110m+ ship... Boring as hell this vid. Thanks for nothing youtube recommendations.
