Ireland Day 5 : Finding the spiritual connection between a pirate queen, a nun & an Irish fiddler.

Exploring the Irish country side starting with the O'Flaherty's Aughnanure Castle, home to the pirate queen Grace O'Malley. Departed to Kylemore Abbey and its walled Victorian-Era gardens, then on to Westport where we dined on fresh seafood with unexpected whiskey pairings. Ended the day with traditional & contemporary Irish music. It's amazing to witness how the past and the present are still so intertwined.
