@@harveysmusicschoollizaman2290 It is a problem I have noticed that is not specific to this video. I have seen Fishbone multiple times, have stood in different parts of the venue. I just want a bit more Walt in the mix. He uses the same mic for his vocals and coronet, and has good mic control. 6-peice band, with a lot of vocal mics and horns, so, big job for any tech, but , still, MORE WALT!
@@livefromtheskycabin1043 Mixing for Fishbone is one of the most difficult gigs I can imagine. Not only do they have LOTS of open mics going at all times (that you can never mute), many of those mics can be facing in any direction at any given time. A total nightmare! But - as someone already mentioned - this is not a recording from the FOH console - it's clearly being recorded by a stereo pair of mics located right in front of Norwood's rig. So the soundman's got ZERO to do with it.
The person taking the video is standing right in front of Norwood's Amp. There's definitely guitar present. Just the position of the person taking the video.

Thank You for doing this. 👊🏼
How in the hell did the keyboard end up in the audience? 😮😮😮
I saw them 8/24/23 at the MGM in Cleveland. Excellent show, excellent.
Oh man....LOVE Fishbone! My first stage dive in the spring of 1988 at Katina's in South Hadley, MA. The bass solo in Bonin' still kills me.
The one song i wished they performed was Black Flowers...
I’m a Fishbone Soldier 🤜🏾🤜🏾🤜🏾🤜🏾🤜🏾

Sound techs of the world: Turn Dirty Walt's mic up.
What you are hearing is not the PA sound but the bass amps. Nothing the sound guy can do here.

No guitar!!why drown him out like that?😮😮😮

Too much bass, drowning out everything, turn guitar up, Please!!Every show.Cant here keyboard either.😮😮😮
The real issue is that the person taking the video is literally standing directly in front of Norwood's amp. They didn't stand a chance. LOL
This is so sad. Every song is terrible. Does no one in this band have anyone they respect enough to give it to them straight?
Yeah they not so hot here.
That guitar isn't a good fit at all.
Rocky George was so bad ass
