ITI Alumna Yeo Yann Yann talks about her days at ITI (formerly TTRP), the impact of her training and shares a little about her mentor, the late dramatist Kuo Pao Kun.
Yann Yann was most recently seen on screen in Ilo Ilo, a film by Singaporean director Anthony Chen which clinched the Camera D’Or at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. Yann Yann won the Best Actress award for her role in Ilo Ilo at the Russia Vladivostok International Film Festival in September 2013, and garnered the Best Supporting Actress award for the same role in the 2012 Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards. The film also won Best Film and the NETPAC Award (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema Award) at the Festival.
