    I rode the sleep train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai ten years ago. The price was about the same as an airline ticket. The beds were narrow and hard. The ride was noisy and bumpy. Too many stops and announcements to sleep. We arrived in Chiang Mai very early in the morning and were very tired.

    do they have lift access ? for family luggage

    • @TRAVEL.HIGHLIGHTS
      @TRAVEL.HIGHLIGHTS  Před 4 měsíci

      Thank you for watching our video. Yes, there is a lift at the station to take you up to the platform, but this is only available at newer, larger stations. Additionally, some stations have a significant gap between the platform and the station, requiring passengers to either descend or climb up to board the train. Please be cautious, as Chiang Mai station does not have the same level alignment between the train and platform. (Bangkok - Bang Sue Grand Station is ok.) ☺ Have a nice journey!

    Hi. Do you still need to personally claim your boarding pass in the office or station (like booking with 12Go)? Or is the E-ticket in the mobile phone enough to board the train?

    How to buy first class ticket online? I only see the second class on the website.

    • @TRAVEL.HIGHLIGHTS
      @TRAVEL.HIGHLIGHTS  Před 24 dny

      Hello! Thank you for watching our video. First-class tickets tend to sell out quickly, which may be why you're having trouble finding them. The best advice is to purchase them at least a month in advance when tickets go on sale. Typically, tickets are only available for purchase 30 days before the travel date. Before that period, tickets are not yet available for purchase. Just one more point, if you like travelling by train you can also have a look at our 2nd channel called: @travel-by-train. 🙂 Have a good day

      Who is to say salt shouldn’t be used for anything. We’d do what we want and how ever we use. It’s a free world, free to choose.

    How do you book these tickets, every time I look on 12go there are never any 1st class tickets available any time.

      @TRAVEL.HIGHLIGHTS  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Thank you for watching our video. To answer your question, we booked through this website: booking.baolau.com/en/. Please note that you can reserve your ticket up to 30 days before your planned date. However, due to its popularity, it tends to sell out quickly. Good luck, and have a great trip! ☺
