The Edwards voice evac gives me bad memories. It was the first real voice evac system I've ever experienced. Back when I lived in the barracks on a naval base, the Fire Alarm goes off and plays that message at 4 in the morning on new years day 2020. No tones, whooping, sirens, nothing. Just the message on repeat for an hour. 4 o'clock in the freakin morning on New years!! Stupid system

It tells people to go to a main lobby and it states that there is just an emergency, not a fire emergency, only way I feel a person will figure out what kind of emergency is happening is by looking at the alarm and seeing the fire lettering on the alarm while it is activated. I have seen real fire alarm emergencies with the simplex voice evac and people always seem very confused and they get up and walk aimlessly.

This would cost an eye-watering $10,000. Yes, that's right, $10,000. For the fire lite one “doesn’t even have the elevator part which is very important” ahem, some buildings don’t have elevators. So this message was mainly used for buildings without elevators

Not for the Fire-Lite ECC-50/100 Voice evac system because it has better quality than the traditional Fire-Lite Voice evac message especially if it's played on the System Sensor L-Series or an Eaton Cooper Wheelock Eluxa Speaker Strobe. It's also has the wording script that is almost identical to the Wheelock Voice evac message that says: “May I have your attention, please? May I have your attention, please? A fire has been reported in the building. A fire has been reported in the building. Please proceed to the stairways and exit the building. Do not use the elevators.”
In 2003, Siemens released voice-evacuation for the FireFinder XLS (non-voice components were released the previous year). It introduced a new message which in my opinion is the best one. I love the simplex default message but isn't functional even though it does work but I think it's time for a quick update to the message maybe like the modern seimans message.

No, I disagree. The notifier message is what my workplace has. If it says a fire alarm has been reported in the building, that just means the alarm has been received by central station and 911. So that’s technically correct. But yes, a fire has been reported is more urgent.

Dude, I got an io64 BRAND NEW and the cpu crashed the same day i got it the io series is garbage, but the EST3 is very well built

My work installs the IO series and they never had problems with them but my works has tons of customers with QUICKSHIT and EST3 and those customers keeps requesting a system change because of those shitty QUICKSHITS and EST3
