Tong and Ming make my blood boil I swear, I'm just livid! Joe deserved better! Also, OMG this series is so great :)
Literally the best BL of this year and without any doubt one of the best ever. This series is looking much more than a classic BL - is a long fluent first class MOVIE with many plot twists, amazing acting from Poom and Up whom practically became their novel characters, producers, screen writers. Poom is already the pure hearted Joe- Poom has an out of charts way of giving us emotion without words, just by using facial expression. Up is already the fierce glamorous Ming from the novel. With some evident differences from the novel (for ex Ming using a bate basseball only in the series not the novel) this BL is really becoming a masterpiece! Mings redemption will be a very interesting one to watch, also the "new" Joe will be the same soft hearted boy, but with a real change in his acceptance of being used. Tong will reveil his evil charmer character... I am really amazed with the producers skills to keep the novel essence so far, because the novel is a very long and complex one. If this BL will not receive the big award of 2024- we, spectators are already prepared to give it the public award! The novel with billion readers is already becoming the series with milions and milions of spectators!

i really cant take it like ming isnt even toxic hes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond like wth was he doing this episode, like i wont accept them together unless ming also suffer the same pain because this is so unfair to joe but yeah i feel its getting interesting so I'm looking forward to the next episode.
I agree that right now Ming doesn't love Joe it breaks my heart he deserved better.

I think Ming will redem himself. Because the director gave us a glimce where we got to know ming become famous and ambassidor for OMEGA which JOE gifted him on Christmas. And He is maintaining his words that he said to Joe for the last time that he will stay in his house until Joe comes back. So I think Ming started to like Joe genuinely instead of Tong's stand-in. But as JOE himself. I just wish Joe can somehow realize that and forgive ming. And if joe can somehow move to his own body it will be a miracle. Nonetheless, This series is by far the BEST series of 2024 suprasing Last Twilight.
Yes. Last Twilight is too close to the usual lines of a classic BL, but My Stand In looks already much more with a MOVIE of first level. Ming will go through a whole process of redemption and Joe will remain with him in the end- but he will remain in his new body (his former body will be finally found after years- in the deepth of the mountains). Ming will become in the end someone we will never expect to see- the good Ming. Just after reading the novel (especially the second part of it) I succed to understand some parts of Ming personality. The series will develop more and more to an unexperienced level in BL world and we are here for it.

I think Ming didn't force Tong in his hand because he's not out to his family and if he did that with Tong he risked being out. Also he loves his sis and doesn't want to hurt her

You are right about Ming jealous possessive and abusive the minute Tong said to help him and Joe was going to be paired with SOL that jealousy is what drove him.
Do you understand how upsetting it was to see Ming knocking out and chaining Joe was I had to stop watching for a moment to collect myself. Yelling this boy has gone insane the boy is crazy! He’s a psycho!
See I don’t think that Ming loves Joe just someone he’s possessive/addicted over. Specially since they showed that seem Ming has been waiting for Joe. Maybe if they play it that overtime he does fall for Joe in those years that passed but Ming needs to be reborn to a decent person to let Joe accept him 😂
WOW your comparison to Vegas was something I didn’t think about but I agree with you! Vegas was more extreme for what they shown physically whereas Ming was more verbal until today’s episode.
