- St. Xavier's College Student of the Year's Graduation Speech by Jahnavi Pandya, born and raised in India, is a national award winning archer, singer, musician, composer, youtuber and social worker. She graduated this year from St Xavier's College, Mumbai majoring in Psychology and was just awarded 'Student of the year.’
She has adapted the 5,000 year old Indian scriptural text, Bhagavad Gita, into English with rhyming verses. She then composed the verses into Indo-Western tunes so the text would appeal to today’s youth and become understandable and has presented it in India and USA.
She was invited to give a presentation on spiritualism and music in Villanova University, Philadelphia for the International Big History Conference, which is a project Bill Gates is personally associated with, in bringing about a change in the academic system all over the world. She was also made a commitee member at the Asian Big History Association, and is one of the youngest members among all experienced professors and scientists.
She is also working with Padma Shri Dr. Sudarshan on the contribution of the Vedas to create a universal identity.
For the last nine years she has also been working on suicide awareness/prevention. She voluntarily helps 31 orphan girls, and in two years has collected over four lakh rupees (six thousand dollars) through crowd funding done through facebook and other social media sources. She has also reached to over 6 lakh students helping them deal with board exam stress through her CZcams channel - Jahnavi Pandya.

When I entered class 12, I was just having a single aim, to get 99% in boards in order to get in St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
But as a lazy human will most likely do, I also lost the perseverance.
This beautiful, admirable and inspirational speech, lit a fire inside me and I got the track again.
So Thanks to God, to make you exist in this world for me.

@@beautifulsoul5744 Ahh nope I didn't, I believe the online entrance was an unfair one since people could easily cheat and there was no interview. But that's just my pov, the test was pretty fun though.

I am in class 12 from Gujarat and I am interested in taking up Bsc chemistry from St Xaviers Mumbai. I have tried to call them many times but to no avail and they have been replying to the emails also very late. So if you know, is there any entrance exam for Bsc programmes or how is the admission procedure done for Bsc courses?
