It just highlights just how criminally poor the Scottish game is set up - that due to the lack of any meaningful competitive level available to youth players Celtic and other clubs now for a good few years are seeing more and more highly rated young players getting poached by some huge European clubs.
It is clear that within clubs something is going right that we are all developing these talents, but the hard stop they come to when they are at ages where they need real competitive football and playing in Lowland league rubbish, they've got no choice but to leave the club.

If you want him to stay, he isn't staying to be loaned out to a shite lower team. If we want to keep him we have to play him in the main team a significant amount.
The fact is, he has a higher chance of first team football with Leverkusen than with Celtic.
