I was hoping he'd be big too, but it wouldn't work with his basic attacks. Either his auto range would scale and be massive, or they wouldn't scale and be dinky compared to his size

I like how towards the end the match went from Conquest to straight up Arena in the mid lane🤣
For some reason, I love lanes where it's clear who is winning, but it would take halfway to the heatdeath of the universe to actually get a kill.
I'm losing my mind that in a 20 minute stomp he only got his 1 to 15 stacks.
It's better to be mindful that it spawns a minion on hit and use that with your 2 then it does with the damage boos on the stacks. Don't even let bother thinking about it. Your burst and lock down are much better if you use his 1 to cause a minion to spawn for that explosive minion throw on his two. Just like if you're hitting totem cooldown scorpion, and wave is coming, use your 1, pick it up the minion, do more damage to archers.
Takes Phoenix mast for the next 3 mins at 1/4 hp team says retreat ymir-"mast don't know that word" proceeds to team wipe at 1/8 hp lol love it

I like how recalling his 3 counts as using an ability and you can get a hydras proc on his BIG last auto.
One build that I found to be pretty fun was to build into a Corrupted Bluestone and have it proc of off his 3 constantly

Deaths embrace, berserker's, shogun's, heavy executioner, pridwen, stone of binding.
1 God hit by your crowd control and hit by two autos, decrease both magical and physical prots by %60 at level 20. Pridwen shield explodes a half second after you land, slowing, into your 3, slowing, into a 1 then 2, as an example, 60% prot shred, slowed by 45% hypothetically.
His 3 isn't a slow, its a MS debuff so idk how they stack and interact with each other. it's great engagement for team fights. Pridwen is more optional, but leaves you at full cdr.
"Yes! be mildly inconvenient!" Its gonna be my go to from now on.

I played him last night on the pts. Warding sigil into sigil of the old guard. Slaps!! I did try warriors axe and it did do work but he kinda needs that more sustain like sigil.
My honest opinion for solo lane bastions is that they shouldnt be a priority for most cases
Theres just enough farm and things to do rn between totem and white buff, and depending on the god it takes a bit to long to really do those, and once the 1st tower falls its not like they move to the next tower

Oh my GOD I loved playing this guy on PTS. Played the FUCK out of him. I say this on a lot of releases but I'm gonna main him hard.
From my testing on pts the other day new item passives dealing with “hard CC” just don’t work at all atm
My man just didnt bother stacking his 1 at all did he XD. I feel like up to 600 extra dmg on it would kinda help.
The highest stacks I’ve seen so far is 57.

Lets say ppl can realistically average out about 2.5 stacks/min (2 from waves + blue buff and other sources), which gives us max stacks around 80 min which is indeed rather unrealistic. I just feel like its something ppl will start paying attention to more, since in most cases u dont sacrifice anything for stacking it and in a few months we might be seeing ppl averaging out even 3.5 or 4 stacks/min.
The problem with his stacking mechanic is that last hitting in Smite is irrelevant to Smite players. Its not like League of Legends where you miss out on a lot of gold if you don't last hit minions.
@@SoulGaleo1992 Thats true, but you also get the stack if the enemy dies within the 3 sec dot that the ability applies so its actually not that hard to get them.

Blue buff no longer has cdr, white buff is the only way to get cdr now.
I always forget the 1 is to stack your passive and I always annoy myself when I see I have like 4 stacks

I played against a ravana solo yesterday and I forgot who I was but I would dump all my abilities on him and only get his shield off, and then he'd regen his shield immediately after. It was the most unfun shit ever, I couldn't do anything

Surtr passive along with his E made him a high Sustain but also having a large damage output in the early game. He's just gonna bully you once he reaches Level 3, i think they're gonna nerf him sooner or later.

Feel like I saw fineo getting 1 stacks off totem. Just another thing to be mindful of if that's still the case.
i have no idea why, but when i try to join a match in the ptb, it takes like not even joking, an hour for it to find me a game, which is absurd

I think people need to look into like Dawn hammer, Jotuns, or Soul Eater builds and such. Tankiness is all there and you can get REALLY tanky now... An Ares with 4 items and an unranked starter can have max prots so like... I am sure people can build an item of damage on Solo lane tanks now.

1 Thing I could like to be changed to his 1 just to be stacked while active, makes a little easier but not impossible considering you may get only 20-30 stacks in a full game from what I have seen
It’s based on the “first successful basic attack”. In my head that means you can miss the single target auto for the cleave on minions and get potentially 6 stacks. Idk how well that actually applies since I don’t play pts but we shall see soon enough.

@@jolynecujoh3784 but it shouldn’t matter that it resets the auto chains as long as you miss the first auto bcuz the second one is a cleave. Again, I don’t have pts but I imagine it works that way. It does say next successful basic attack so idk why they would limit it in such a way.

Just play him on PTR for 10 minutes against bots. 1 makes a minion, 2 can throw that minion for bonus stuffs, 3 dmgs specific area and slurps up chunks, 4 you meteor man.

His clear is actually pretty good, but he's slow to get around and needs to hard engage with either blink or ult It seems. He feels really good in solo tho, it's super easy to box and clear and take camps, objs
15/200 bonus dmg stacks in a full game.. I feel like 200 last hits with the 1 is just unrealistic in a normal game.
That said, it doesn't look like Mast really needed that 600 bonus dmg at all.
Seems like stacking the 1 gets forgotten a lot 😂
