Really good comparison, I recently ordered the kbd rear bumper and side skirts. Sadly I already had to pay almost $200 in shipping for ordering the parts at separate times but I’m still excited😁

I have the fibreglass kit the back bumper and the side skirts were the best fit The front bumper definitely needed some work and sanding and dogging
noted noted, sounds like the case for most miatas and kits in general

yes I hope so, I will be doing a complete installation guide for the kbd whereas for the jpfiberglass i kinda just threw it on the car

I run the kbd kit on my miata, fitment on the rear and sideskirts is pretty spot on but the front bumper isn’t quite perfect fit
noted, still must be better than the kbd or maybe the front bumper is just harder to fit in general
@@dfitzwm it definitely still fits 10x better out of the box than any fiberglass kit I’ve ever dealt with. Overall the kbd kit fits 9.5/10 for an aftermarket kit. Also helpful to know for the kbd kit you’ll probably need to trim your hard plastic crash support a bit on the bottom and definitely reuse the metal oem bumper bracket where the bumper connects to the hood so you don’t have a massive body line/gap. I really want a kit for my z31 and everyone says that jp is the absolute last place to go. But $800 for a whole kit vs $3000 for a front and rear bumper off another site sounds much better. What would u recommend I do?.
if youre willing and able to do some body work on the JP kit then I would say send it. If you want it to fit perfectly from the manufacturer then i would save up for the better quality but more expensive kit!
Once both are fully painted and ceramic coated, can you tell the difference by looking at them?
maybe due to fitment but not a huge difference to the eye
love your video, just wanna know if fibreglass or Polypropylene bumper which is better? in term of durability, low bumper lip situation

love 70 days later after payment and jp still hasnt shipped my kit and u cant refund cause they will take back like 30% of what u paid pretty much a L if i dont get it this year

for 380 more just get the kbd its really not that much for a good kit if it was 1k more I would see the JPF place in the market. but it doesn't really have a place for the price difference. i just got a rep kit for 1500 the original was 5k more.

JP FIberglass isn't made in America - they are made in the Domincan Republic and their website has changed.

I picked up a KBD and they replaced it 4 times. They're great at that, but the fit itself was horrible. It didn't fit. The edges we choppy and side skirts were wavy. Never again
The warranties are insane lol and yeah I can see that. Would you rather go with a "real" fiberglass kit?
@dfitzwm I think I would have. It's easier to put on, and you can just vut and add material to make it fit better.
