yeah to me that's the best of the joke Pokémon easily

snorlax having a 110 atk base stats and doubling it with huge power.. then adding 30% damage from life orb, then STAB bonus damage... this is just insane. you're a walking permanent stage 5 power up. IMO the literal definition of a tank. built like a tank, hits like a tank. Surprisingly, tanks are fast too.

fun fact: huge power doesn't double the base stat, it doubles the actual stat, so its actually much stronger than a pokemon with base 220 atk

Snorlax has a 110 base atk stat but I never saw a single pokémon with the base stats as its actual stat. it can not exist unless it has 0 EV and 0 IV and is exactly the required level AND you create a miracle because leveling up doesnt mean +1 exactly. did you know that?

@@Khezu_in_the_mountain you're right, it doesn't double the base stat, it multiplies it by about 2,5. Otherwise how would a base 50 Azumarill reach 436 atk with his meager 50 base atk and Huge Power (218 without) when Snorlax has a base Atk of 100 but caps at 350 without Huge Power. Does that make any sense? No? That's the point. Seriously though, Snorlax is scary with his 700 Atk... Especially since they removed the stats cap and the rollover thing. Now he can go beyond 999 and not suffer from it. His base speed of 30 however....
Question, can Snorlax learn revenge or counter? or Arm Thrust? Man that's terrifying...

@@novarender_ if you see alpha replays which covers maybe the first half of the game, you'll see that he infact got +100 eggs to open. Obviously he didn't show eeevery single one of them and opening all is difficult (as I said I only watched what's on the other channel) also he himself said that not every egg was given from a content creator, some were from mods, friends, etc

I love all the pokemon that were more unique than just having truant. Jaidens Rayquaza was hilarious, and Rotom Wash with extra accuracy was probably my favorite!
The main issue with truant is that it makes a Pokémon almost completely useless, no matter what move set, etc.

@@markfaites because that's the gimmick with slaking, truant is its signature ability (the only pokemon to have it and the only ability it can have) because it is the only normal pokemon to have a legendary level set of stats
it's not useless when it comes to a legendary, but it's definitely a difficult challenge to play around sometimes
it's similar to how regigigas has pretty good stats but they have it slow start as a challenge

Choice Specs - Contrary Latios is arguably the best current hackmon available, if you ban wonder guard and other abilities. It's not surprising that it can sweep the entire game, even if it was lvl 50 against lvl 100 opponents.

31:35 just as a reminder that Galewing Talonflame terrorized the meta with Choice Band Brave Bird for a while and it has less than 100 base Attack.
No way in hell anything that takes SE damage against STAB close combat is going to survive a choice band boosted by Adaptability.
