Brian Jones was a shock to loose, Mick Taylor was devastating but when Bill Wyman left the Stones were never the same, a caricature of the once great band! The way him and Charlie locked in was the foundation for Keith's magic.
GOD BLESS YOU Bill, THANKS FOR STANDING UP STRONG for Brian Jones ! And KEEPING THINGS REAL
bill wyman is honest at his age he is a honest man but what a life
Love ya Bill... I'm still listening. Peace.
Thank you! Great interview; Wyman is always a perceptive and sly truth teller.
Never forget Bill is the world's best and greatest bass guitarist.
Bill has always been my favorite Stone. When he left, I lost interest in them. That being said, I still listen and love their older albums.
What a life -and still going
Bill in another older interview said the Stones peaked after "Exile on Main Street". Basically this is one of the reasons why he initially left the Stones 'wObbLe'. Cool Guy, underrated bassist and a major influence for the Stones sound and vibe!
I just saw The Quiet One which I highly recommend. Bill's interest in archaeology extends to his own past and the history of the Stones. I'm glad to see him having a happy life. My first Stones album 12x5 back when they had three American albums. Been loving them ever since, especially the old stuff when Bill was still in the band. He is really 80? Wow.
Cheers Bill and many more years
Love to lissen to The R. Kings I saw you 2 times in my home town Enschede
Absolutely Awesome Bill
He's very interesting...thank you for the beat Bill
Dear Bill, you were always the stone in the Stone's! Nothing but the best to you and yours always...
Happy birthday great Bass player
Good on ya Bill 😎✌️
Stunned to hear that even Bill Wyman can't sing and play bass at the same time. Makes me not feel so bad about not being able to either now.
Two old dudes; talking "back in the day'. Such an amicable interview. *Bangkok-Johnny*
I can only recommend Bill Wyman's biography. Along with Manzarek's, the grestest.
Ron Wood used to have a nightclub in Miami back in the day. Was called Woodie's. Spent some late nights back then.
bill is DA Best
Ole Bill, DA MAN!!!
lovely interesting man !
can't put anything past bill... thanks for posting
Bill now 82
I wonder if that Gold top Les Paul guitar came from BRIAN JONES?
Bill and Charlie Watts are class acts. But Jagger and Richards, as Bill said, are a pair of lunatics.
I truly believe part of the reason Bill left the Stones was because Stewart was no longer a part - he had passed away.
Класс
When he's taking about the other 3 does he Mean Mick, Keith and Brian? or does he mean Ronnie, Mick and Keith?or does he mean mick, Keith and mick?
Mr perks
how's the food?
Modest Bill - The Quiet One - I wonder who he is trying to put himself on a par with from a certain other well known 60’s group? He has total insincere modesty in all things!
Bill’s false modesty never ceases to amaze me - from his restaurant to his metal detectors to the rolling stones - it is perfectly exemplified in the title “The Quiet One” stolen directly ( in case u didn’t know) from The Beatles George Harrison .... there by assuming the mantle and status of George while sounding modest at the same time
