66% of global middle class will be in Asia by 2030

Two out of three of the world’s middle class will be from Asia, at least according to the Chairman international mining giants Rio Tinto.
Speaking at Asia House, Dominic Barton highlighted the continent’s focus on innovation as the reasoning behind Asia’s meteoric economic rise.
“…we've had close to 60 per cent of the world's GDP growth from 2015 to 2021 was Asia. China has been 30 per cent,” said Barton, who chairs the world’s second largest metals and mining corporation.
