This is the best the Fenrir has ever been.. and it is thanks to the dedicated players and modders of the community. Bringing a piece of early 2000's nostalgia into the decade 20's with current game engine technology and tools... It is a beautiful sight to see.
Making both the HPM and LSWM particles were fun. I'm mostly impressed at how creative the other modders have become to add unique stats for the HPM. I can't wait until that project is completed at 100%.
The fact that you even managed to make a near-perfect recreation of the High-Power Microwave in ACX is just.. I am at a loss of words This is the Fenrir that should've been when it was first revealed to the world. You all have truly done an amazing job with this. This is indeed the closest to perfection the Fenrir has ever been. I cannot wait for this mod to be complete and go public
wow, I was only hoping to find a mod that just add the Fenrir model into the game. I didn't expect this much extra functionality from when we were fighting against it in ACX. Way to raise the bar, can't wait to get my hands on it
Completely loved it. My only problem is that it's a little TOO strong. Yes it should outshine many of the other planes we have because it was designed to be overwhelmingly powerful just not that strong. If the HPM dealt half that where on higher difficulties enemies had a high chance at survival then I'm all for it. Aside from that it's looking good and I can't wait to use it myself.
In ACX the player can avoid damage by maintaining high speeds, so if the enemies in AC7 can’t/doesn’t want to outrun the purple ball, it’s on them On the other hand, it’s not meant to be a plane to oblige with “balancing”, but simply something that’s just cool as fuck. In ACX it’s the “trophy” jet for beating the campaign on Ace mode, and by then you’ve more or less found more enjoyable, and arguably more practical means to beat the campaign missions
In ACX Fenrir was kinda balanced by how it was only capable of carrying 50 standard missiles. That's second lowest amount of missiles an aircraft can carry in ACX, only beaten by F-5E Tiger II, which can carry only 48.
I just want to point out that the HPM required ground installations for it to function according to lore. Its still neat to see, but its not supposed to just be a magic microwave ball created by microwaving half a grape.
Damn, gladly we only saw the Microwave Ball in End of Deception I as enemies, imagine if the Fenrirs used the Shockwave Missiles in End of Deception II, Gryphus 1 would have real problems.
I hope the blast radius of LSWM will be further expanded to match the upscaled visual effect and the homing capabilities of HPM to be further enhanced to be able to switch to other nearby targets upon destroying its existing target/s. I am really excited for it.
Few questions. One fo I need to unlock the su planes first and second my sound is not working I'm using a ps4 controller is there away to get sound from the controller or do I have to use Xbox controller?

I notice that the Fenrir Doesn't maintain altitude when hovering, to be honest that was a very good fix considering that this Mod is Op in a lot of ways. so losing Altitude while hovering is a nice adjustment to balance the characteristics of the Fenrir. the Special are acceptable as long as depending on the difficulty they don't one shot kill everything in site
Actually, ApriliaBelka clarified to me that what you've been describing is actually the A variant that's meant to represent the Aurelian Fenrir, playable HPM notwithstanding; this variant does not have Hover Mode and was never meant to. The B variant representing the Leasathian Fenrir (and the one with the LSWM) is the one that can hover almost indefinitely, and the one I showcased "VTOL Mode" in the previous video.
@@KnightValfodr I wish the A Variant will also have VTOL because it will enable very sharp maneuvers without stalling which is paramount for Air-to-Air dogfights.
