Kanye West is an absolute Legend. That was the first time that I saw him. I was 13 years old and I was sat in front of my tv in Portugal waiting for pink floyd when this guy appeared. It was an amazing experience for a portuguese kid that didn’t understand a word. I was mesmerized by him. I grew, and kanye grew too giving me almost every year the same feeling.
Now we have “Jesus is King” and we know (now) that we were blessed! Thank You Kanye West!

I was here at this ....and the crowd was caught a lil off gaurd.... Kanye had just dropped one album so he wasn't as big as he was yet ...so the crowd took a second then processed it

Kanye is the Louis Armstrong, Chuck Berry, Jimmi Hendrix, David Bowie, Michael Jackson of our generation. I can't think of another artist from the last 15 years who has the discography, critical aclaim, and mainstream influence of Kanye. It really sucks that because of his fuck up's most people who haven't listened to his music in depth see him as a joke now.

A lot of people choose to hold on to Kanye’s public outbursts (George Bush doesn’t care about black people, Taylor Swift) and his manic moments (his reactions towards paparazzi, when he called himself a god etc.), such that they let it cloud their ability to appreciate his music.
