"As our lord and savior Kyle Bull says clean tones are stupid" I love that 😂😂😂
The way I use mine is double boost! You gotta try it blows things away I use the built in tubescreamer almost as a part of the EQ I put the gain up a bit about 9:30 and then volume at 3:00 and tone at 1:00ish then use the outside boost in standard full volume no gain tone to taste they pair amazing atleast my highwind direwolf does the blend knob really makes it easy to double boost and dial in but I’ve used other boost as well for the double and it is the way!
LOVE that intro track Scott! wow.
Damn, you nailed that intro song. Sounds fantastic. You have cool black metal tones there.
sounds brutal! 🤘😀
I'm not a guitarist , I'm a drummer primarily. But those tones are great. And I really like that guitar you are using.
Awesome! Killer playing , great song.
Huge sound. Thanks for demoing this beast. Marek needs more enforcers!
Very cool video! It shows that really dialing in a tone and k owing your high gain amp can really make a difference! Would you prefer that this amp was a 2 or 3 channel amp if your could have your preference? Please consider pisting mire videos of you fine tuning your amps loke in this video. Thanks for posting!
good editing 📽
It’s really interesting how this tone sounds by itself vs double tracked in the mix. That tone really has some interesting textures in the mix.
beautiful song 😍
Dude I would listen to your music albums nonstop. Any bandcamp or streaming?
I haven't really released anything, I should figure out what I'm doing there 😆
I have a mini nightmare ir . 2 game changing things. Run a boss eq-200 in the loop . Cabinet choice is super important. Just got a Hesu modern 212 from Thomann . Wow ! Sounds amazing now .
🔥🤘🔥
That song in the beginning was two thumbs up good
That amp sounds as it when it want to eat each rectifier alive.❤️
I had similar disappointments as you did but with my purple nightmare, I couldn't get it to sound tight or juicy at all with the built-in OD via the traditional no gain all volume tone at roughy 1-2 o'clock for the first few months. It got better when I learned to crank the tone knob and use a small amount of drive, but then the thing got stupidly good when I hooked my Pepers' Dirty Tree in front, in lieu of the built-in boost. Try it ! Mark Lewis used it like that on the latest Whitechapel record iirc ...
DT Boost into the built in TS with volume set to needed I find that about 3oclock / gain at like 10o’clock tone cranked up a bit to taste and bam 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻👌 tight chunky nasty riffs for days
I have owned the pre amp pedal for some time and it sounds great for anything up to c# but once i pull out anything lower than b it just sounds like ass to me, i’ve tried many different over drives but it just doesn’t tighten up like a rec or 5150 which i like in lower tunings.
This was one of the same things I was saying to myself about the Darkest Nightmare until I started cranking the mids. 😆
I’ll give it a try, the dude from tonewars got a good tone from stacking an overdrive in front whilst having the onboard ts also engaged. I’m determined to make it sound good in low tuning! 🥴
Damn I was just writing in the comments too...🤣
I think that intro would sound good even if you played it through a crate practice amp
That beard plays the guitar very sexy.
incredibly beautiful fingers 🤚 🎸 😂
Have you given up on playing as a leftie or are you still working towards that goal?
Fizzy sloppy high end. Not a fan at all.
I hate channels that add there bands music for 5 fkn minutes before you talk about the actual amp .. never would sub to this
I hate idiots that leave comments like they are whining little victims who are too lazy to click the fucking video to skip to the next bookmark, glad I won't see you around with your bullshit whining
Great video. If you’ve played the purple nightmare, how does the darkest nightmare compare?
Cool video man! You definitely made it sound awesome!
