Bafana Bafana lost to Sudan 2-0 in the African Cup of nations qualifiers.
South Africa will not be going to the African Cup of Nations in 2022. It’s a shame. There is no point of writing a match report about missed opportunities. We lost.
iDiskiTV Analyst Junior Khanye gives his brutal assessment of Bafana Bafana failing to qualify.

SAFA needs to learn from SARU on how important development is from schoolboy to professional level. Here is an example on how rugby develops players from school level:
    1. There is a craven week u13 where the best of the players in each province are chosen to represent their province and compete against each other.
    2. From there they are scouted by schools and are allowed to go to better rugby schools to further their development.
    3. There is a craven week u18 where also the best players in each province are chosen from their schools/teams to represent their respected provinces and they compete with other schools and some countries are invited to participate in the tournament, this further exposes them to a more competitive stage.
    4. SA u20 team will consist of these players who dominated their positions from a young age some obviously come later, but the core of the team consists of the best of the best from a provincial level to a national level.
    5. This development strategy promotes chemistry between players from a young age to the national team, thus players know their strengths and how each one plays.
    6. As a result most national teams consists of a core of players who have played together since u20. SA Rugby team has won 3 world cups in a space of 25 years, why can't we learn from our fellow SAs.

The problem is not at all with the coaching. Our players are just not good technically and they overrate themselves. We also overrate them too much. We need to address football development in SA.., Else if we are not willing to start at grassroots, then we must just keep quiet.

The day as South Africans football fans that want to see our country competing well in international football stage is the day we go to SAFA offices and demand Jordaan to resign with immediate effect. That Jordaan guy is a politician who is destroying our football. How many years has he been in SAFA’s offices and there has been no progress. He fired good coaches like Mosemane and Ntate shakes Mashaba on no real reasons and brought in someone who is inexperienced only because he wants to be in charge of selections of players and all that. Bloody politician!
