I met the female pilot (tipping her cap at :31) the other night. Very nice lady. She is the friend of a friend. She said that she was the only actual pilot in the commercial. The other "pilots" were actors.
I’m guaranteeing that most of the people in this comment section haven’t flown on Emirates before, I’m not saying that united airlines is the best but it’s not the worst airline. it’s better then American and delta so I understand the idea they want to expand into the United States.
I’d say this is an incredible move for United in terms of PR, given their previous ‘controversies’, in terms of handling luggage, animals, refusing to simply ask another passenger to give up their seat and choosing to injure a doctor with patients etc. Partnering with a highly reputable airline (ignoring the working conditions of pilots and cabin crew) is a good move.
Emirates is a world class airline . I hope United realizes that it needs to cater to the people flying there especially to Dubai . Will appreciate Halal food on board.
