Eager Edge was a mistake, I use skates almost every time I play something in this game, this perk should not exist in this state.

Just as a warning to everyone, once you get to the final boss, you cannot start it until the previous encounters have been completed... nor can you grab the checkpoint
Pretty much just GoS but you can't actually do the final boss

I've always respected these runs, being able to show complete mastery of a games mechanics. Keep it up man, really, I'd love to see more of this.

I mean it's sick but I don't think that using out of bounds exploits is exactly mastery of mechanics
@@sureoutlaw822 That probably wasn't the best way to explain it. I'm just saying overall, not just for this specifically. I would still say the memorization of the things you need to do to get to these areas fast, like this run, is still impressive.

It’s 100% a macro . The ground skate is too hard to pull of that effortlessly. Shatter Kate off a ledge is another thing that’s 100% easier to do
Imagine they embraced this stuff and put secrets out there, even a sign that says 'okay go back now' instead of ruining the fun
If you want to save a few seconds you can shatterskate right after shooting the first bell instead of waiting to hit the ground first.

For anyone who doesn't have the season 17 finisher (like me) and wants to do this, the original hunter finisher (blade carnival I think) works with the flying upwards bell glitch. Works 99.9% of the time on the stairs, not much luck or testing on flat surfaces tho.

I've used this oob in a much more roundabout way. When you do it like this, are you able to start the final encounter?
No you cant start the final encounter, but you can get both secret chest on all 3 classes which is what i do to farm storm chaser :)

Fucking around with the opening finisher launch, if you stand on the flat below the larger staircase and are positioned well you can riccochet your head off the beam and launch yourself to the end without needing a skate

the issue with doing it this way is that you cant activate the boss, anyone know a way around it?
I think you have to kill the previous boss to start the encounter. I believe that's the way its coded, but this is mostly used for secret chests every week.

It doesnt work that way. Did this several months ago. This breaks the game and it is impossible to start the final encounter. Why else do you think the video cut off and the player did not finish the dungeon? This video is pointless.

I dont have a tutorial, I put my jump on Scroll wheel up. inputs I used: Scroll wheel up(Jump), Light attack (left click), Shatterdive (X)
But you can’t start the boss encounter so what’s the point
I really enjoy just doing stuff like this is the main reason, you can get both secret chests very quickly using this method (they are on route)

See, in bungie's eyes, it would take months on months to patch holes, vs a few lines of code disabling an item for 6 months and no more problems.

I used Scroll wheel as my jump for "Ground Skating". Inputs that I use are : 1. Scroll wheel up (Jump) 2.lightattack (left click) 3.shatterdive (x)
I did all the skips and then didn't finish as it breaks caitl so she doesn't attack or start the encounter
I still don't understand why you use the teleport, it seems to me that you can get there without using it

Ground skating. It’s 1 extra input but much more difficult in comparison. Very doable but it’s not easy
