I watched another person’s CZcams that films abandoned houses yesterday. He went so fast with his camera, I couldn’t appreciate anything. It was a pleasure watching yours tonight. Nice and slow with attention to the little things. Thanks!

I think this was a happy house at one time. Just the vibes I’m getting & perhaps the paint colors that were used give me that happy, pleasant, comfy feel. I loved the cupboards. I bet the walls hold lots of memories & tons of stories.
wish people would leave things alone & not just throw things around. I know that maybe some explorers might’ve come in & rummaged through things, but it’s not that hard to put things back the way you found them.

Rick, with your enjoyment of the first house and the attention to detail you had for both houses i was thinking that if you ever change jobs you might do well as a realtor.---In the first house it looked like the overturned desk might be a roll-top desk. At least it had the sides/shape of that kind of desk. Other than being overturned and the drawers removed or pulled out, the desk looked like it might still be usable.

This was a awesome find. You don't find the painting (stenciling) above the doors etc ,now a days! It's a cute "country" look to it. I love it!! Thanks for sharing and hi to Bekah!! Love you guys, keep up the good work! Peace, Kim ~

I'm stunned that the glass in the cabinets and the doors is not broken. So glad this is a house of actual natural decay and not a house of tagging and vandalism. It's ashamed that you couldn't get upstairs. But, it probably would not have been safe anyway. Loved the look, just walking up to the second house. This house seems much, much older than the first house. And it a lot better shape, too. What you called wasp nests are actually mud dobbers nests. I actually kind of liked the second house a little better. I have never seen a house that was that basic and primitive before. Cool find.

Yep! That house is cute, charming, joyful colors with pleasant character. It's always the water leaky roof that ruins the beautiful old house. That is why (the owner of the house) should always check-up the roof, clean up the house gutters every year and change to a better lifetime roof. So it won't leaking and destroy the house in the long run.

Hey Rick- new subscriber here, I've been catching up on your videos and you keep saying you like carpeting in bathrooms ,, YUCK !!I I know you heard about not keeping tooth brushes out because when you flush - unseen poo particles land on them. And what about someone having to pee so bad -they don't quite make it .. or make it in time with diarrhea . And IS you aim REALLY that good ? And what about your friends- what are they doing in there ? Bekah is right- no contest. It was a 70's fad that didn't last- along with gross carpeting in a kitchen... grease pit. p.s. every time I make a spelling correction that line shows up. don't feel like fixing it, sorry

This place has a lot of those "Watch that first step, it's a luuluu." I saw something similar to that in the brick house, I walked to the basement stairs and almost went in but happened to look down and they were gone. and the basement was full of wood and garbage.. it wasn't hard to get out of it but it became more of a danger as years went on.. a lot of floor disappeared. Yet there's people who still climb in onto the second floor.. which is even worse , it's all sagging and sinking.
Also the two prong outlets are long outdated, my current house has them and I'm trying to get them updated.. The old brick house didn't have much either, it had the tubing wire or whatever you call it.
