@@mysterysunfurled You're right... I know that the show is about this dysfunctional relationship, but I can't help feeling hurt when I see that Malcolm struggles alone... Also one of the reason why I wanted the show to have more seasons is because I was hoping for some sort of happy ending... I'm usually not very attracted to this kind of stories, but here it's different. The whole show is about how much trauma affects lives and it brings up the question whether you can go through so much shit, overcome it, and live a relatively happy and healthy/wholesome life. A lot of us need to see Malcolm be happy. It would be comforting to many, many, many people. It would give us a bit of hope. A lot of us need to see Malcolm and every character who is struggling feel better and recover from all this pain... That's all...

Malcolm isn't the "Prodigal Son" because he understands killers' mind like his father, he is called like this because he is broken but he still believes in humanity. He has been through so much pain, trauma, abuse, lies, but he is the only one who has never given up on his values. That's why he is called " The Prodigal Son". I like him so much... It's gonna be hard to say bye to him...

There are just do many things that could go wron. What if Martin will kill his son? What if it's just a trap SO Malcolm would became "the same" as the surgeon? What if Ainsley will refuse to forgive Malcolm? What if they will arrest Malcolm for murder? Since There is no proof actually that he didn't want any of this... What if Malcolm will kill Martin - most likely in self-defense - and that will crush him?
In synopsis was said something about another serial killer. What if Martin kills him to protect Malcolm and that’s why he says “you made me become him again”?
Are we going to know what happened to Malcolm during this camping trip ? What if Martin forced Malcolm to do something in this forest when he was a child ? Do you remember the man Malcolm pointed a knife at when he was 10 ? This is one of his repressed memories... I've seen theories stating that Malcolm could have killed someone in the past in this forest, but he forgot everything because his father drugged him *and* probably because this traumatic experience may have led on to a post traumatic partial amnesia. But it's kinda doubtful... Martin would have told him about it to try to convinve him "they are the same." I'm not sure what to think of this... I only hope Malcolm will not get hurt in this Finale...

I have no idea... Don't think so... But, if you ask me, it's daring of Vivian to meet Jessica as if nothing bad happened while she literally kidnapped her son, tried to kill him, and took away Martin. What she said to Martin when she was about to kill Malcolm was a telltale clue. It showed her motive for kidnapping both men. "I want the relationship you (Martin) have for him (Malcolm)." I guess she just wants recognition and that's why she is welcome to any type of relationship, even the most unhealthy one, as long as she feels she is in the center of attention... or as long as she can impose herself and be in control of everything... Just like Martin is towards Malcolm... When Vivian says she wants the same kind of relationship with Martin, it means she wants to be the dominator and Martin has to be the abused one... It's like a role reverse... Martin becomes Malcolm and Vivan becomes Martin in this new dysfunctional relationship... Vivian looks up to their relationship because she likes Martin's dominating tendencies and at the same time the obssession he has with his son... She wants to be Malcolm and Martin at the same time. Being a dominator/manipulator (who Martin is to Malcolm) AND receiving toxic adoration (what Malcolm gets from Martin). She is looking for both aspects.
