    So basically Aisha made up the whole story about her being accused of adultery and ifk didn't really happen? Or you mean ifk happened but surah 24 is not about her?
    Also on Wikipedia it says Surah 24 was revealed in 5 AH not in 8 AH. What would you say about it?
    Please answer. Thanks

      Salaam Alaykum. As examined in ep192 (czcams.com/video/axkNXMUd2zM/video.html), it was Maria al-Qibtiyya who was exonerated in Surah Nur. Also on Wikipedia, the reference for 5 AH requires citation :)

    If just listen to the content of the verse the translation of it and the Bukhari version of Hadith you will realise the version of Hadith isnt sound ,keep an open mind use any translation of the verse you will realise the believers r told ,why did you consider the doubt ? The hadith is saying the prophet (SAW) himself doubted ,does this make sense ? Before you insult the shia at least get the point in the video Aisha nor his father will judge the believers ,yet Allah the Truth is a Lord of Justice

    With all due respect, sheikh. I am sunni. Wasn't the best corse of action for our prophet (sm.) to stay away from Aisha (ra.) to prove her innocence?

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  Před měsícem

      Alaykum Salaam. If you are confident that someone is innocent, you don't leave them alone. Imagine your daughter or sister is accused of commiting adultery. And you know that it is impossible considering the fact that you know it is beyond her character to even think about it. Will you stay away from her or publically come forward and defend her?

    Aisha, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, was accused of adultery in the incident known as the "Incident of the Slander" or "Hadith al-Ifk." This event took place in the 6th year of the Hijri calendar
    Maria al-Qibtiyya was accused of adultery around the year 9 AH (after Hijra)
    Surah An-Nur (Chapter 24 of the Quran) was revealed in the 6th year of the Hijri calendar, which corresponds to around 627 CE
    So your accusation is false

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  Před měsícem

      Not all scholars agree that Surah al-Nur was revealed in 6th year of Hijra. In fact, for most scholars, the only proof that Surah al-Nur was revealed in the 6th year is because the alleged incident of Ayesha bint Abi Bakr's happened in that year :)
      However, there are verses in the Surah and some corpus proofs that this Surah was revealed much later.

      @@Thaqlain I'll answer that because alhamdulillah we don't rely on lies but do you agree that your speaker blatantly lied? Seems like you do. Your questions answer was given in my first comment which you deleted because you didn't have any answers! But since you asked I'll reply again, Ibn Ubayy wasn't lashed because he didn't come forward. He was a known munafiq and after his death ALLAH SWT revealed the 80th verse from surah tawbah declaring ALLAH SWT will never forgive him and other hypocrites like him. So don't be a hypocrite and acknowledge that your speaker lied.

      1) So you are saying that under Islamic law, a chief instigator of a crime will be left unpunished by the state just because 'he didn't come forward'?
      2) What does not come forward mean when Ayesha herself counts him as the source of this evil?
      3) What about other people who joined him? Were there only three people who talked about this, and it made Prophet so upset that he left his favourite wife for a month unattended while she was sick? Or did he not trust her in the first place?
      4) What about companions? How come they were ready to accuse a Mother of Believers and favourite wife of the Prophet?
      5) They knew the chief instigator was a Munafiq. Yet, they propagated his propaganda. And Prophet, too, accepted it while knowing all this?

      Our beloved prophet( peace be upon him and his family )was going through the tests of life other prophets were tested with their wives like prophet Lut pbuh and Nuh Pbuh.
      His marriage to Aisha was a Test
      And having some unloyal companions was a revelation that riches and power corrupts people.
