Very clean design. Looks really nice. Not an apple person but I think this product not only looks great but also has quality functionality
Totally agree Tony. Only thing missing for me is a USB-C out round back. Thatâd make it and absolute game changer for travelling.
@@ThatMarkGilroy you're right. Not sure why I didn't think of that as well
Thanks for the video! Interesting to hear your thoughts on it!
Very cool but if kit, thanks for sharing Mark. Hope all is well my friend
Hey Marcus. Allâs well thanks! Are you managing to get out detecting in this weather? I keep trying to make Tesla videos and then the rain stops meâŠ! đ€Šđ»ââïž
Great review and production quality! I really enjoy the layout of your videos and the flow. Thanks google algorithm for suggesting this channel!
Ah, thanks for taking the time to comment - glad youâre enjoying them!
Buy the Belkin Boost Charge Pro, but make shura you are getting the one that charges at the fastest rates for the IPhone and Apple Watch, because they used to have an old one that didnât charge at the quick charge but now they have a new one that does
As the video talk about using for traveling, I notice the charging part on the side (for watches). That part can be popped out "accidentally" while in the suitcase/backpack during moving and if u get that a lot, it may result in breakage. I wish they design it with a secured lock/button or something.
Other than that, nice video
Thank you sir. Yes, Iâd probably use some Scotch tape or similar to be sure if I was taking this away in a bag that could accidentally pop the watch charger out.
Great review! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks buddy. Much obliged.
Just bought this thing for a couple of reasons: ok for travel, 3in1 so no cable hassle and centralises everything. Foldable iPhone support, full grown charger (even my laptop is supported), ready for the iOS 17 switch screen.
Every single other 3in1 charging with this technology is at that price. Anker throws in the Watch charging pad and a charger where and the same price level other manufacturers donât necessarily.
Expensive yeah, but buy once cry once
Buy once cry once đ
I have the Belkin 3 in 1 at home. This might be my next purchase for my desk at work just in case I need it.
Yep, itâs a really good desk accessory if youâre wanting to save space and/or keep things minimal.
is this compatible with samsung devices? like an s24 ultra w/ dbrand gripcase, galaxy buds pro and a galaxy watch 6?
It only supports Apple devices (phone/watch/headphones), but Anker make a different charger for Samsung devices. Have a look at their 544 charger.
Hi, my AirPods Pro 2nd gen wonât charge on the backside wireless charger but they charge on the main where we charge iPhone. I think itâs flaw with mine. Can you please check it with your?
Yep, sounds like a flaw with your model- I have all three charging at once most nights.
Can you please review the new Otterbox 2-in-1 power bank with MagSafe? Thanks đ
Iâve got something even better coming next week!
Hello from Chile! I would like to know if the charger gets hot, when you put the iphone, the apple watch and the airpods charging. Thanks!
Bienvenido Julio! I often charge all three at once and havenât found that the devices or charger get hot.
This looks pretty interesting seeing as itâs so small in size. I have the belkin 3in1 charger which is pretty pricey. Around the same price as the anker one. It itâs hard to take it travelling with me as itâs so big and bulky. Will definitely have to pick up one of these for myself at some point.
Thanks Yas and yes that Belkin charger looks great. I was happy to pay the premium rate as this is replacing a bunch of chargers/cables for me and allows me to streamline what I take with me whenever I'm travelling.
@@ThatMarkGilroy can you charge Airpods up top without opening flap? I mean if you leave the cube flat. I don't like using wireless charging for my phones as I've noticed significant battery degrading with it.
@@jcap8391 The AirPods Pro 2nd Gen are MagSafe enabled, so yes you can charge them on the top of the cube when it's not opened up.
will my apple watch ultra 2 fit? i notice your 45mm barely fits
Yes, a few other commenters have said that Apple Watch Ultra fits. The website doesnât list series 2 Ultra as compatible though which is interesting. Might be worth checking with Anker!
hi, are the airpods pro gen 2 able to charge using the front and pull-out part?
Hi! Yes they are. If anything itâs a little easier as the magnets in the case snap onto the MagSafe charger part of the Anker charger.
This is the best combo when it comes to compact and travelling. I just have a question about heat, does it overheat the phone while charging. We know that magsafe still have that issue of heating which is not good for the longevity of battery. And I think that ESR done a great job with their cooling system technology (cryoboost), I think that is the solution for MagSafe efficiency.
Iâve not found any heating/thermal issues on charger or phone (Iâm using the iPhone 13 Pro Max).
@@ThatMarkGilroy thatâs good to know especially if I want to invest in a product that cost 150 đ thanks for the feedback
How fast does it charge the I phone 14 pro max. Is it equal to a 20 watt apple block cube with lighting cable ! Thanks
It charges an iPhone 12-13-14 series at 15w via MagSafe, so not quite as fast as a cable at 20w.
What are your review compared to KU XIU X45 series. What's changes does Anker provide at this price point ?
I made this exact video. The Kuxiu is MUCH better value! czcams.com/video/LZdWZGAdqnI/video.html
The only thing im unsjre of is the watch portion fitting a galaxy watch since Im samsung but i know the wattage for the charging is fine for my phone.
Hi! Itâll only fit an Apple Watch Iâm afraid as itâs a proprietary charger. Probably why it costs so much!
I have to admit im loving this compact charger đ!!! Its just too expensive. Maybe for next years Black Friday lol
Thatâs fair Anthony. As I say in the video, itâs not cheap.
Love the quality of your video. I actually just posted a video on Ankerâs Cube as well.

Any tips. Iâm probably doing something wrong.

@@larryhjorth5415 Do they work on the main MagSafe charger on the top? I have used mine with and without a case on the second AirPods charger and they usually charge fine. Could you have a faulty unit?
I have multiple questions but Iâm going to keep try to keep it simple and short will I be able to power this cube it via type c to type A usb I have a type c to type A I use for a few gaming headsets or will I need to use a brick because the only times I use a brick is when I have company over and they need a brick I charge my devices via usb to lighting still I have a outlet with a usb I want to retire all my cables and keep one for my iPad or when I travel and just keep this cube on my nightstand because the cables are getting expensive
Hey buddy. Yep, you don't need a brick to power it, but if you're expecting fast wireless charging, obviously your input and cable will need enough power to carry it. If your adapter is capable of charging your gaming headset then you should be fine - just check the wattage.
@@ThatMarkGilroy thanks for the advice much appreciate it
Does it use Apple watches fast charging from the series 7 and up?
Yep. I have a series 7 and Iâm getting fast charging!
Does the watch charger support fast charging for watch series 7 and newer?
Yes. Depending on what else is connected itâll deliver 5W.
Anker is Apple-licensed Magsafe, so it's 15w in fast charging for iPhone and the last 2 Apple Watches - not 7.5w in the Nomad (they claim 10w, but it actually charges Apple devices at the slower 7.5w). No, the Anker is not cheap, but it's the same price as the Nomad!
Yep, Iâm really noticing the difference in speed of charging.
@@ThatMarkGilroy I was considering purchasing this but the spring-loaded Watch module worries me about longevity. Thinking about getting the Belkin mat for the same price, even though you can't use it to angle the phone for viewing.
Me too. Iâm happy with the trade off as itâs replacing a bunch of chargers which I can use for home and travel alike.
Any idea if this would fast charge newer Apple Watches?
Yes it will. I have a Series 7 and I get a fast charge even when my phone is connected. Any S7 watch or higher will get fast charging.
Thatâs a brilliant design. I too am using a nomad base stationâŠ..which I loveâŠ.decisions decisions!đ
You can't really go wrong with either Reehan!
I actually just returned my Nomad base station in favor of my Anker Cube!
I canât blame you Jon!

I'm not a Samsung fan boy but I hope they also made it work with Galaxy devices. Because that would be truly amazing. Or maybe Anker could make one for Galaxy devices, that would be really great. Beautiful video!
I with Anker made more Andriod stuff.
Thanks for your feedback Eleven đ
Nothing wrong with being a fanboy in my book. And yes, hopefully the success of this chargers will mean they make something similar for Android devices. I read that there is a workaround with a special case that can convert Samsung/android phones to MagSafe compatible but I donât know enough about them to recommend it.
@@ThatMarkGilroy My pleasure! And yes, there's a pretty simple workaround for it! I believe ESR is the brand that makes those high-quality magnetic ring that can be applied on the cases of any phone that supports Qi Wireless Charging tech.
But unfortunately, the magnetic chargers of Apple Watches can't charge Galaxy Watches.
But yeah, hopefully, the success of these chargers will definitely bring up the chances of them making one for Android devices đ

Hi Nikki. Iâm sorry to hear about this⊠have you tried contacting Anker? Youâre not the first person to ask so I can try reaching out to them.

@@ThatMarkGilroy charging speed ? or outcome ?
@@kamalwanis7827 ah, no it wonât make any difference to speed. The charging cube and devices will take up to what they can handle and leave the rest.
Every time I charge an Apple device wirelessly it seems to get red-hot to the touch, potentially causing damage to both the device and battery. Did you notice excessive heat build-up with this charger? Thanks so much.
I know what you mean- my little Anker 622 charger seems to double up as a heater as well as charger. I havenât however found any thermal issues with this charger for any device.
@@ThatMarkGilroy Thank you sir!
Why lift top for airpod charger? Why not just put it on the top coil
Yes you can do that too. The new Airpod Pros are magsafe compatible. The charger under the top/lid is in case you are charging all three devices at once.
Does the cube get charged or do u have to plug it in everytime u charge something?
Yep, it needs plugging in each time. Itâs not big enough to hold a battery big enough to deliver fast charging to all devices.
Are the adaptors confirmed to be in the box? I asked Anker US but the support says adaptors are not included
Interesting - I am based in the UK and ordered from the UK Apple Store as Anker were out of stock - they came as standard in my box.
@@ThatMarkGilroy Thanks for the response. Not sure why Anker US support gave that response. But hopefully stock will be available in Asia soon. Thanks!
Can it be used as a stand? I'm looking for a magsafe charger that holds the iPhone up so I can view the screen while it charges. If so, does it hold it in portrait and landscape modes?
Yes it does- works in both orientations too. The Max size iPhone will be at a bit of an angle in portrait, but in landscape mode it works perfectly.
@@ThatMarkGilroy Thanks. I should have mentioned that I have the Pro Max .
Itâs so much larger than my old 11 Pro !
@majorgear1021 yep itâs massive. I nearly went with the regular Pro this upgrade but I like the battery life that comes with the big one!
Does the Apple Watch charger extend far enough to fit an Ultra?
It will fit an Ultra. Just!
probably a stupid question but do you think this would work with the pixel devices? ive got a phone, watch and pods and i am looking for a 3 in 1 for them. obviously the magnets wouldnt work for the phone but would it atleast charge them wirelessly?
Not a stupid question at all! Short answer- no it wouldnât work. MagSafe is Appleâs protocol and doesnât play nice with other systems. You can however buy special cases that allow Samsung/Google devices to utilise MagSafe without causing any battery damage. The pixel buds will charge just fine round back as thatâs just a standard Qi charger. But the pixel watch is a no go Iâm afraid. Hopefully Anker will bring out something for non-Apple devices as this seems to have been an incredibly popular release for them.

Yes, I use mine with iPhone 15 Pro Max đđ»
Looks really awesome. Gonna be even better when iOS 17 comes out with standby mode
Absolutely!
Will Apple Watch Ultra fit in the watch charging space?
Yes it will!
Does the iPhone and charger heat up excessively when in use ?
Not that Iâve noticed Douglas. I very rarely tend to have all three devices on which I imagine would produce some heat. Typically I wear my watch for sleep tracking so I have my phone (sometimes AirPods) on all night and then put my watch on for a quick boost when I wake up.
Can you use your phone horizontally while charging the Apple Watch?
Yep! I use it to watch videos in bed!
Kind like a futon though. Seems like youâd end up leaving to in the charging position full time.
Pretty clean looking.
Good analogy, and yep, youâre right!
Can someone please explain why the side wonât pop out to charge my watch
@@judibraman2129 you need to pull the top part backward just enough until you hear a little click - like a futon - but be sure to keep the top in the sweet spot (like a futon) while you pull the chaise lounge watch charger extension out and into place.
After getting your tech cubeâs back rest aligned with the chaise lounge feature in place - itâs recommended you do reset your modular chaise lounge futon charger back into cube mode.
As doing so can place you in great risk of catching technological buyers remorse. Its also recommend that you keep the tech cube lounger out of sight from others. The secondary shame of explaining why this charging cube is the way it so can be significantly worse feeling than missing your return window during the honeymoon phase.
Remember with buyers remorse itâs just a little money burned. The shame and guilt experienced having to enthusiastically justify the benefits of a quirky product over and over has a compounding effect of leading others to view you as âthat guyâ

Ain't it true that wireless charging harm battery health? I would really love using that but concern about battery health.
There is a LOT of mixed information about this online (from supposed experts) - so I would encourage you to check out a few sources. The vast majority of the research I have done would indicate that wireless charging (specifically MagSafe) does not degrade the battery over time any more than any other charging method for iPhones. This is because (like so many Apple protocols) - being proprietary software/hardware it is intelligent enough to not continue to heat/charge the battery once it has reached the correct level. The ideal solution would be to have some settings in the phone that allowed you to specify what level you'd like the charger to charge your device up to, but we're not there yet!
@@ThatMarkGilroy thanks for your answer.
That's not true at all, I've been charging my phone wirelessly for two years and the battery is still great.

Itâs definitely the best bedside charger. The best travel charger Iâve used is probably this one czcams.com/video/LZdWZGAdqnI/video.htmlsi=4Ksmc5CKZnURKg4F
Great product but ÂŁ150 for a charger is just insane, I was looking for a charger so I can do my phone and Apple Watch at the same time but this costs half the price of the watch itself. I know they probably have to pay some kind of license to use MagSafe or something (maybe, only reason I can think of for the huge price?) but spending half the price of a product, to charge the product is crazy.
I think that's what it is - it's the price of calling it an official MagSafe device. If you like the concept I can recommend Benks' omni stand: shrsl.com/4de3s and also their 3-in-1 Juicepod stand which both do the same thing for half the price of this one. shrsl.com/4de3v
It would be so perfect for me as a travel charger to pack from a nightstand to a backpack if it had 1 or 2 ports (either usb or type-c) aghhhh so close
Yep, that was the trade off for me. The Nomad base station charger (linked in description) has a USB C port round back - but takes up so much space compared to this one. Argh! Thereâs always V2.

Similar price point once you add the watch charger on and has a USB C out. uk.mous.co/products/wireless-charging-station-with-magsafe-qi-charging-walnut?currency=GBP&variant=41300324286521&Google%20Shopping&stkn=6073d45bc500&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAs6-sBhBmEiwA1Nl8s-3ahM3AZarK0lI7zZDqQ5ILJ-bZjak4tcWg_PuVj6I6q5RmQejyExoCKWAQAvD_BwE
At $150 I just don't see it being worthy of consideration. Unless they cut the price to $50 then I doubt many of these will be under the Christmas Tree. Other than a cube look it offers nothing more than the $30 options out there.
I hear you. But Iâve seen the $30 options out there and most look absolutely awful.
Iâd definitely pay $75 easily for this, but $150 is too much.
@@cole4648 I'm guessing a big chunk of this goes to Apple to be able to put the 'made for Apple/MagSafe' branding everywhere.
Do most $30 charging solutions charge all three idevices at once? While maintaining fast charging for the phone?
I think a lot of companyâs have gotten totally carried away with there prices. Anker is no exception. Just a couple years ago this same charger would haven been affordable. This things tiny also more like a travel charger.
All my devices?
Yeah... as long as I use Apple... I'm no sheep.
You can use it to charge any wireless devices.
Can you get me this in India
I think that's a question for Anker - sorry, I can't help!
Was this a paid partnership review? Not much mentioned here in the way of negativities and certainly no mention of the weight. Just wish you were more honest and truthful in your reviews Mark.
I wish it was, but nope! I always flag up if my video has a paid partnership. I have since ran a followup which outlines some of the issues with this charger product and suggests a cheaper alternative czcams.com/video/LZdWZGAdqnI/video.htmlsi=xvV5WlTFvykI45n9
It can charge all your APPLE devices only. Let's put that in the title.
Well, kind of. It wonât charge a laptop or anythingâŠ.and technically Samsung/Google phones will work fine in terms of wireless charging. The little airpods charger round the back is just normal Qi standard so would charge any other set of buds with a wireless charging case. I tried it with a Jabra pair and it worked fine.
@@ThatMarkGilroy right, but the top with the MagSafe charger that tilts up will only charge an iPhone while tilted, everything else will slide off. I like the concept, but it really only charges three devices at once if they'll Apple.
@@blade-OT I promise Iâm not trying to make it fitâŠbut you can buy magnetic cases that will make an android phone MagSafe-ready.
Still though, 150 is a bit too much imo đź
Thatâs fair enough San!
I have S22 Ultra and 14pro. No product exists to charge wirelesly 2 phones at once via magsafe. Don't use any gimmick watch or stupid ear buds. Gimme a product. Only thing that exists is samsung trio wireless charger.
Hmm. Have you looked at the Nomad Base station (hub edition)? No MagSafe integrated but has âmagnetic alignmentâ and usb C power out so you can charge other stuff too.

So US, UK, and Europe... That only covers barely 20% of the world... What about the rest?
You should start your own electronics company and service the entire world
ErmâŠ.other adapters are available? I just thought it was cool they came included.
