    Приятелю имаш едно голямо ЕВАЛА от мен. Много добър контент и много добре обяснен! Искам да попитам понеже сега обзавеждам апартамента ми и планирам да сложа Livolo RF smart light switches дали имаш някакви наблюдения дали работят добре с rm4 pro, и понеже апартамента е голям дали трябва във всяка стая да сложа такава джаджа?

      @KPeyanski  Před 2 lety +1

      Здравей, първо благодаря за хубавите думи 👍 На въпроса ти - не съм сигурен дали ще работят двете у-ва, но шансът според мен е много голям да си работят без проблем. Относно покритието всичко е много относително, стени, метериал от който са направени стените, разстояние и тн. Единствения сигурен начин е да пробваш на самото място. Успех.

    Hi, what are great video and sharing. May I know which apps you are using to connect the Broadlink Pro?

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety

      Hi, I'm using the official Broadlink app available for free in the App Store / Google Play. Thanks for commenting and for the great words about the video.

    Thanks for the Great video. Must the Broadlink RM4 pro be in the same room as the TV and facing the TV ? thanks

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, Broadlink must be in the same room where the TV is and there should be a clear sight between both devices.

    Do you know if this Broadlink RM4 Pro can replace the sonoff bridge, to receive 433Mhz signals from magnetic doorsensors?? and send 433Mhz signals to the rf power switches? Is there an option to sent a signal to somfy motors? and the horizon(ziggo) media box remote control?? (most common used in the netherlands).

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, RM4 Pro can send 433MHz signals, it can even send 433 & 315MHz(Asia standard) if you bought it from AliExpress (links below). I just searched for ziggo in the Broadlink DB and I couldn't find it, but you can always use "learn" the remote function and mimic your existing remote.

    • @dutchkel
      @dutchkel Před 3 lety

      The RM Pro does use 433 RF signals

  • @StringerBell

    Can you make a video on how to integrate with home assistant and capture RF codes?

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, I'm currently doing this. The second part will be available next Wednesday. Have in mind that learning IR & RF codes procedure in Home Assistant is exactly the same.

    Cool Video! Does the the RM 4 pro works with A/C brands such as Panasonic, Carrier, LG ?

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety

      Yes, it should work as long as they are using 433MHz RF or IR. And if you buy the RM4 Pro form AliExpress there is a big chance to support 433 & 315MHz RF.

  • @NYProfessional

    You bypass the 2.4GHz vs 5 GHz issue and the AP vs smart setup issues which is taking tons of time to figure out :(

      I have to read some more about these issues as I didn't experience them until now. Thanks for the tips.

    Is there a way to simply ask Alexa what the house temperature is?
    Already have my Rm4 setup and I see the temperature in Alexa menu, but I want to be able to ask Alexa to tell me the house temperature. Thanks.

    Is this device cloud dependent? Will it keep working with HA if broadlink goes bankrupt? Tell us in next video 😁

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety

      Yes, it will work locally. You just need the Broadlink app to connect the device to your Wi-FI, but you will see that in the next video

    • @KPeyanski

    • @KPeyanski
      @KPeyanski  Před 3 lety

      Is it possible the ACs to work on different radio frequencies? Like 315MHz for US and Asia. As far as I know a lot of ACs are using that and rm4 pro support 433 & 315 frequency only if you bought it from AliExpress.

    Good video KPeyanski. I'm interested in what kind of range the RM4 has. I tried the Broadlink RM Mini3 IR (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K2DHXB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I couldn't get it to work past about 1 meter away from the IR receivers in the TV, etc. I tried two of them in case the first didn't work, ended up returning both.
    I have the RM Pro remote that works well and I can place it up to 3 meters reliably but it only does IR.
    I have two rooms I need to control so in another Right now I'm using one of these (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZP5NQWF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it's range works like the RM Pro, I can get about 3 meters from it too.
    If the RM 4 Pro has the range that the original RM Pro has I think it will be a great addition to our second room that needs RF too.
    Thank you for continuing to make great videos, I've learned a lot that I can do in Home Assistant from your videos, looking forward to part two.
