I do the Avery tabs exactly the same way for the same reasons! You are not alone. I use an A5 for work, and the little tabs are so handy! Just downloaded your font for stickers, too! Thanks and welcome back!
As a presenter, this is how I was taught to use tabs. Great tip! It’s not the wrong way.
I enjoyed watching your setup. I have been using A5 Rings now since March I think of this year but I did use it back in the late 1990's and early 2000's. I have even started making my own inserts but I loved watching you set yours up.

You are doing your tabs the correct way. That's how I use my Avery tabs.
I've noticed other planners put the tab on the exact page, put their right finger on the tab to hold it down, their left hand pulls the stack of paper away from the tab, and then they can see the page they were going to. Now, that's weird! 😆

I have the exact binder but in black. It’s honestly good guys! Very budget friendly👍🏼 I’m using it as a bullet journal planner hybrid, loving it and loving the ideas on this video

Really loved how you explained in very clear examples of what you have and how you use them. And for the tabs, I use the same way and agree with you have to lay them to where you are not lifting in same direction as taking them off. If that made sense lol. I have always been picky when came to those. 👍
So simple and functional! I love how minimal your planner is. A5 is the best size!
That’s how I use tabs too. It just makes sense otherwise you’ll lift it off the page and then it loses its stickiness.

I use those tabs all the time but never the way you did. I have them on some of my sticker books so I can see which ones they are without flipping through and the adhesive is quite strong on those tabs. By the way I love the clip idea I will definitely be picking some up. 🥰

I use the tabs the same way but I also cut half of the sticky portion off as I find there is too much and sometimes it gets in the way of where I want to write.
I do the same thing with the tabs. It just makes more sense that way.

I wanted a personal VDS for a long time about a year ago and the pre made ones were sold out for a long time. I ended up buying a moterm. I’m not a fan of amazon and rarely buy from them but I saw the moterm on You Tube and thought I would try it. I have really like the moterm personal size. I have a Malden personal size. I never used the Malden much because I don’t really like it. I have really like the moterm and have used it for almost a year.
This system reminds me of the Franklin Planner I used back in the day but I really like the simplicity of this. Can you explain the monthly subscription to Cloth and Paper!

Thanks for sharing! Do you ‘save’ previous months and weeks somewhere so you can look back after a few months or a year? And how do you plan ahead if not all months or weeks fit in at the same time? I’m always struggling with that in rings. Any thoughts?
I use tabs the exact same way and thought everyone did to not pull at the page. Plus I notice that I automatically place my hand behind a tab, so if it is the other way I don’t turn to the correct page. Not sure if that makes sense, but something I have realized when using different planner systems and tabs.

Especially the way this year has been going, I feel like this is the kind of adaptability alot of us can benefit from. Do you see yourself staying with this setup? Darlene Christine that’s exactly how I feel! Some weeks I plan, some I don’t. Most days a weekly is great, sometimes I need the daily. Loving saving the paper for sure!

Yes and no! I just don't have a lot going on, so I don't find myself pulling them out because I use them to make certain things stand out. I do love using them, I just don't find that I need them right now! I'm really happy with the highlighter for now, but that may change if things get busier!

Wait - I’m not consistent. In a bound book I put together for class, I have it on the page I go to and I put my thumb on top of that tab and opened it. Why don’t I always do it the same way?!?! Mindblown right now

What you did to Erin Condren was horrible. You were arguably the biggest social media voice connected to EC at the time, and you chose to “cancel” her because of the mob-mentality. She supported you and endorsed you, and that was the cowardly way you replayed her? I hope that you get nothing less than what you gave.
