Thank you Claudia for being objective. Jeezy has literally cheated on all the women his been with, what makes y'all think he wouldn't do the same to Jeannie. Jeezy was the first to do interviews etc and y'all mad she's doing the same. He couldn't even be bother to tell her about the divorce first, instead she found out through the media. Jeannie comment years ago was bad even though lots of non-black women feel the same. Plus men like Jeezy weren't dating women like Jeannie until they got money. Let more information come out
She didn't even say it in an interview it came from the court documents and she said it with grace as he might not have done it with a bad heart or something like that however there is a part of their marriage clause that triggers payment if one party cheats and she hoped the documents and request or case can be handled privately moving forward. All she said in the Jennifer show interview was that she found out with the rest of the world as jennifer asked how she was post divorce.
Guess what and they got through as any real woman would. A man doesn't define a woman and vice verse. We owe it to ourselves to get up and keep it moving. He has and ain't nothing going to change that. She's just one that has celebrity status yet at the end of the day is no different than any other woman that has gone through a divorce orbreak up. She will be fine. She knew who she was marrying.

Claudia took the best stance. It’s hard to say until all the information comes out, but I think too many people are vilifying Jeannie. Jeezy let her find out about the divorce with the rest of the world, then proceeded to try & get in-front of any potential backlash. I’ll believe Jeannie Mai, before I believe Jeezy.
I feel the same in that people have villainised her so much and both side can be true at the same time and who is to say she didn't find out he cheated after he filed for divorce. Many people find out so much about their spouse or partner after they break up so it's not a stretch that she could have found out after. Like Claudia says he cheated before on his other women so why is it so impossible he did the same to her.
I don't .. ppl need to check their assumptions. I think he's living in his truth which may not be the nicest reality but it's bigger than her. He may have cheated , he may not. She may have found text but not physical contact. She may have found 'cheating' evidence earlier but didn't say anything till now, specifically after he wanted a better custody arrangement. Folks trying to muddle everything down to this broken relationship are being biased (not maliciously), in my opinion. I think she is working the angle she knows best, the media & marketing spin. That's how she got her fame and knows it well.. She has to be the blindsided naive ex-wife to keep up with garnering sympathy for her perspective to undercut any sympathy he may earn for the accountability he is trying to take in more areas of his life than just this one relationship.. just like plenty of men have to have the 'crazy/bitter bbymthrs' to assume leverage and avoid their own accountability.

Men who cheat on their wifes absolutely do file for divorce first, i know of one close family member who did that and the wife was blindsided because not only was she not expecting it but was welling to move past it and save the marriage.
My husband, for 2 years, cheated in our marriage, filed for a divorce, and a year later, married the person he cheated with and filed for the divorce with her. That's why some of the comments are easier said if a person hasn't gone through it or is just instantly judgemental. Jeannie is better off without him, in my opinion. Jeezy is a hard dude, lol. She left her ex-husband. She literally talked about it on the Real, how her and her ex-husband both agreed in the beginning they didn't want kids. But as time went on and she saw how he interacted with his niece and nephew and she could see it in his eyes he had changed his mind and he just continued to go along without having kids because he loved her. So she said she let him go so he could find happiness and have children with someone else who wanted that since she didn't think she ever would change her mind.

Why people act like a woman wanting to save her marriage after the man cheats is strange. I'm sure in Jeannie's culture, that is not so strange. Saying that her wanting to fight for her marriage at first does not give the indication that he cheated...is not necessarily a good indication of whether or not he cheated. She was married before, that failed...maybe she just didn't want another failed marriage and was willing to look past the cheating and try to work things out...especially since they have a child together.
