- Finally decided to finish this baby.
Ever since the Q&A went live, I made this quick and dirty mashup to Toxic.

I'm absolutely sold that Toxic was a direct inspiration for Poison because of this!
If it isn't too much, I suggest to you to do viceversa: Toxic vocals with Poison instrumental.

I love how both of the songs have the same structure (verse verse, pre-chorus, chorus, verse, pre-chorus, chorus). Also, gotta appreciate how the "I'm not above a lot to cash in" matches up with the start of the instrumental. :D I really like what you did with Poison pre chorus adding the "Yeah, yeah, yeah" to fill up the gap! ❤
Tl, dr: I really liked this mashup! Fun fact: the way how the first half of the chorus sounds matches how Angel Dust feels in the original Poison... wait, this fact isn't fun, it's sad :(

I tried doing this myself but the instrumental and the vocal seemed out of sync but your seems well placed like it belongs there pls help
The important thing to remember is match up both the BPM of the Instrumental and the Acapella together.
In this case, Toxic is 143BPM, Poison is 150BPM.
I use Ableton for the tempo adjustment.
Each program will function differently in operation.
Looking a both waveforms is crucial to finding a good lineup for both audio clips.
