    I love all your tutorials and I want to thank you for them too, so THANK YOU!
    I do have just one question, where did you get the little black hooks with chains that hold the cauldron?

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  Před 7 lety

      Thank you! They whole handle was a piece of wire that shaped with round nose pliers, and I painted it black because at the time I only had "silver" wire, but you can get it in black too :)

      Thank you and where did you get the black chain with hook that is shown at the very end of the video? :)

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  Před 7 lety +1

      The hook was a piece of wire as well and the chain is from online jewellery supply shops.

      @MaiveFerrando  Před 8 lety

      +Ruthie Rocchio Thanks Ruthie :) I know most cauldrons have three feet, especially after googling so many images for inspiration, but I went for four feet to be different ;)

      @talonshadowhawk8419 Před 6 lety

      Maive Ferrando I have an iron cauldron that has 4 feet to it's bottom side. So they do exist .

  • @Wolfkins1972
    @Wolfkins1972 Před 8 lety

    one other question? which mica powder colors did you use for the inside & from what company?

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  Před 8 lety +1

      +Wolfkins1972 I don't know what company they are, and the colours are white and purple :) You can use metallic eyeshadows too (eyeshadows are made with mica powders)

    did You Cooked the pot afther that You removed the tin foil And at the end did You Cooked it again? how many minute?

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  Před 7 lety +1

      I can't remember that far back, but I must've baked it for 10-15 minutes with the tin foil in it and once it was cool, I removed the tin foil and baked the cauldron again after adding all the other details. The second time I like to bake it for longer, maybe 20/30 minutes, just to make sure that all the binders and plasticizers in the clay are bonded. I always bake my polymer clay at 110ºC. Never exceed 130ºC. Hope this helps :)

    Hello, I've tried this twice now and each time I cannot get the tin foil out and end up breaking the cauldron.How do you get the foil out!

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  Před 8 lety

      Oh, I'm sorry it hasn't worked for you...Maybe the clay is still warm when you try to remove the tin foil, or maybe the clay is too thin, maybe you covered the tin foil too much and the opening is too small, or maybe the ball of tin foil is too tight so you can't squeeze it anymore when trying to remove it?

    • @alexandral6997
      @alexandral6997 Před 7 lety

      Tina K Burton it was very hard for me to get the foil out also. I left just enough foil sticking out so that I could cut it piece by piece and that worked. took a lot of time tho.
