Len Wein, notable Batman writer of our lifetimes, is how I first think of that man.
The Empire of Acheron was originally based where Stygia in the Age of Hyboria is then located, or the seat of Acheron's power was just beside where Stygia's is, to the East...it's been awhile since I looked at the maps. Acheron was the first empire based upon the worship of Set, and others, which Stygia has been made into being the successor of. But not as powerful as ancient Acheron was. Maybe the text for the vision-hallucination that young Thoth/Amon has from that snake bite, explains all of that to you though, hah.
Sudden and hilarious Bruce Dickinson interjection, hahaha.
Xaltotun! Xaltotun-of-Python!! Great surprise appearance, there. Such a struggle between two evil srocerers was great; something I haven't previously seen in a Conan/Hyboria story. This was really good, I liked how Kelley Jones' style was applied to this world and these characters. Very fitting, actually. I'm gonna have to keep this in mind for a future purchase. Thanks for introducing me to this, Marinus! See ya at your next video, meanwhile have a good one!

      He is fantastic!!
The first you say? Interesting. I knew Acheron was near Stygia, but i didn't knew the Empire and and their God Set. I only knew because of what i've read from Conan back in the day. In my mind Acheron was a city instead of an Empire. YeS. Lots of sacrificing and slavering lol..
      Run to the Hills xD
🤩 My favorite name of ALL TIME. Xaltotun-of-Python!! 🤩. It's great to see him again (in one form or another). This was greaaaatttt, by Crom!!! I knew i had a good book in my hands. Hope you will read it some time when you have the chance, my friend.
Have a fantastic tuesday and onwards to the next one!!

Wow this was a very story heavy Conan story. Looks cool and I need to pick up those Ablaze Conan books, they have it at my LCS.

It's cool to have a villain story that is really villainous and not sympathetic. They are fun to read. great art too
