Absolutely! It does get busier in Summer, Cleethorpes is a great place to chill, relax, enjoy walks and a slower pace of life. Cleethorpes isn’t Blackpool, Skegness or Ingoldmels. I’ve posted a video of a Haven caravan tour as well. Niamh x

I lived there for 27 years (from 1960) and remember the waterfall being constructed. What is with the pelican statue, are pelicans common now in the area!? The Boating Lake, in my opinion, is one of the nicest parts to walk around.

I'm not sure where 'Polly the Pelican' popped up from, I did do abit of research but nothing sadly. Cleethorpes is lovely! I remember always going to Cleethorpes and staying in a caravan - so many memories.

To this American it looks quite charming. I love the archaic spelling of "doughnuts" (donuts here in the US). Maybe they can add a couple of more attractions, amusements and certainly more restaurants ... the place can stand to be livelier. Otherwise it looks to be an affordable weekend getaway.

Who votes for the worst seaside town???? They need to have a good look at themselves. Cleethorpes is a wonderful place very popular with the folk of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. So do one.

All good unless you drive a camper van then suddenly your fair game for councils SS goons or inforcment officers as they called them selfs go scarborogh were they dont discriminate spen your money were your welcome you walked past my camper did you spot a crime ?
