It's not a shame that miami is the only new track. This game is based of the official 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship season. The tracks in the game are the tracks that the real life sport goes to this year. Also nobody claimed that the codemasters f1 games are the most accurate f1 simulators. They are simcade and codemasters makes the game that way to target a larger audience. Did the reviewer even play previous games and done reasearch?
Maimi was the only new track layout but we did get a all the updated tracks aswell for the new season like Austria, Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi most people who don’t follow F1 won’t notice the differences tho

I thought the comments talking about "racing during a formation lap" were a joke or maybe the reviewer misspoke or wasn't clear about what he was saying. But he straight up said you race during the formation lap and showed up clips of him racing during the formation lap. All the clips look like they were taken from 5 lap races where pit stops and tire condition isn't even a thing. And half of them showed you had a drive through penalty. I just don't understand why this channel would decide to review this game when they have no knowledge or interest in F1...

My first Codemasters F1 game was 2020. That one is the last F1 game to have the classic F1 cars. 2021 didn't have it but it did have the Braking Point story which I actually enjoyed. The career modes were fine too but the story was great. But it was short. I didn't expect anything more, anything less. I hope F1 23 will have a story. Supposedly it will. I bought F1 22 and I enjoy it. But the new cars take some getting used to, especially if you're playing without the assists. I like the game for what it is and it's a Formula 1 game and I've always loved Formula 1.
I consider myself fairly good at f1 2020 and place within top 100's on some leaderboards for xbox but I just bought f1 22 three days ago and it cant stand it. I mean its so frustrating to be on tracks im normally good at but always ending up looking the wrong way. The spinning is un fucking believable. That long corner at COTA? No thanks. High speed turn 6 at Brazil? Hell no! My god the traction is out of control.

Hey guys, I need some help I just got the F122 for my PS5 and I use the Logitech G29. I just tried a race and I noticed that the new “turn in” feature in the pit lane has the wrong keybind. I have to press “X” instead of actually using the steering wheel. I’ve been looking for that option in the setting and I just can’t find it… can anyone help?
Ps5 version sucks in multiplayer mode at the moment. Even after the latest update. In career mode all is fine, but in multiplayer it is bad. i.e We was meant to be in qualifying, I was but my son was put in a sprint race. Every now and then cars don't bother overtaking you all they want to do is smash you off the track. Now and again your car loses so much power you get overtaken like your not there even though you have no car issues. I expected a few issues as it is a new game but this is beyond anything I expected. It has now made me come to the fact of never pre ordering another game. Hurry up EA sports and get this sorted out.

I think I had that on N64 (I was very young so not sure) and I played it constantly. I found my n64 not long ago, plugged it in and….. nothing happened. Absolutely crushed!

AI seem broken. Way to fast on corners and straights. Im being overtaken with DRS active and the car behind me is still able to catch and overtake me! My Team is what ive been playing the most since the game come out. 4th season in, 2nd in performance rankings but im still qualifying last. The car feels as slow as it did in the first season as a newcomer

I expected a few issues as it is a new game but this is beyond anything I expected. It has now made me come to the fact of never pre ordering another game.

Honestly the review is funny and we realize that f122 game is not the much more than last year lol. Typical EA fashion. I’m glad he showed F2, they need to make it where you can do a full career in F2 as well. F2 racing is amazing in real life and sometimes has more action than predictable f1 top teams to be honest. F1 life lol… what a joke for little kids I guess.
Give the review task to someone who: 1. can drive. 2. has a wheel. 3. has watched at least one F1 race.

This is the 3rd F1 game with DLSS and after 3 years, their implementation is still garbage...! same goes for their other AA solution... they really need to ditch their game engine, make a new one or go with something else!
Or upgrade your hardware. It's an F1 game, not hard to run at all
@@DeejayJeanP lol... idiot comment. I am running the game max out in 4k! tried all AA solutions and DLSS quality version, even tried DLSS 2.4.3 and all AA are awefull! TAA and DLSS have way too much ghosting and other solutions don't have ghosting but still too much aliasing. So next time if you're going to make a comment, do so homework 1st.
@@DeejayJeanP it's not about running it. AA is garbage at all levels and DLSS ghosts like crazy.
If you're on steam, try replacing the associated DLSS file found in the game folder with the latest version, see if it helps.

I think I had that on N64 (I was very young so not sure) and I played it constantly. I found my n64 not long ago, plugged it in and….. nothing happened. Absolutely crushed!

Anyone here on Ps5 with the Fanatec DD Pro? If so, Can you use F1 2022 on native mode on the base (blue light) or do you have to use Comp. Mode (purple) just like F1 2021?

Did we get an option to turn the announcers incredible play by play on? Or not. They make the sport just as exciting for me and I would love it if they had more appearances in the game. A voiced avatar wouldn’t be bad either. I’m not asking for too much
On ps4 this game is utterly broken, unplayable broken. Havent been able to play it for longer than half hour without the game crashing in one form or another. Needs a patch so bad. 70 quid for a game i cant even play for anymore than a time trial. What a mug i am.

Man, was just watching this and reading some reviews to decide if I wanted to buy this. NO WAY. Dude this looks terrible. I'm without words, any good ones anyways. Looks more like pole position. Compared to the leading sims, this is just so subpar I don't even know where to begin. Not that my opinion matters, but this looks to poor to not say something its so annoying. I'm out

AI seem broken. Way to fast on corners and straights. Im being overtaken with DRS active and the car behind me is still able to catch and overtake me! My Team is what ive been playing the most since the game come out. 4th season in, 2nd in performance rankings but im still qualifying last. The car feels as slow as it did in the first season as a newcomer
