There is a 48” hydraulically controlled door that was lowered to close the gap while filling up. This mold is set up to use this door in the lowered position while pouring unreinforced barrier wall. For this job, there were several light standards in line with the barrier and when the machine passed those, the door was raised to allow pouring over the steel reinforcement and electrical conduit for those lights. Once past, the door was lowered back down.
