If prx don't win this event, I seriously don't see them winning champs or getting close to it. This is their easiest road to a LAN win. Every other team has questions, while prx with jingg back, have looked really dominant.

this is such a weird tournament, at the same time that it has “the best” teams from each region I don’t feel like it. We won’t see the actual better teams on it, like loud and sentinels from americas or even drx from apac
@@aaabdwIt’s rough that GenG looked like shit the first time against T1 in the upper semifinal. I guarantee if T1 lost to them there, Drx would’ve slaughtered that them. Hopefully we see DRX in champs 🤞
This LAN is easier, but it's still PRX. They've been close before and they can do that again.
We could see clove for the first time in not only vct but an intl event with fpx vs fut

I feel like people are heavily underrating the Chinese (and East Asian) homefield advantage. T1, Dragon Racer Gaming, and FPX are going to hit well above their weight due to the extra time avoiding travel and having more local scrim partners.

100t definitely gonna roll fnc. 100t and prx have the strategies and the fire power. 100t players rly aren't inexperienced either just been awhile bc they haven't had a good igl/coach
yeah easily. fnatic is only good cuz of their individual mechanics and their team play isn’t great.
Idk I’m a huge 100T believer, been on that wave since the Dicey iteration. But FNC have so much experience as a team and on the stage that they’ll know how to handle the pressure. I still do cope that they beat FNC but they’re gonna be an annoying team to go against

Those who think this tourney is easier are prob americas fans (Sentinels). NRG, LEV, PRX, GENG, TH, KC, 100T, EG etc are all newly formed teams or had roaster changes. This tourney is harder as teams are glueing now. For sentinels fans, there were speculations that sen wont qualify for shanghai. And champs will be the hardest.
Big question is Fnatic. Are they getting the mini-buff or do they not win a map? Don’t know if I agree about Alfa being disappointing tho, more Boaster being frazzled.
On the other hand, this could be a lot of hemming and hawing just for PRX to win without dropping a map-somedays they look like they might just do that.

Can someone explain the swiss format to me? From what I understand, it is a non-eliminating format but the current bracket shows that there are teams that might get eliminated.
teams that get 2 wins move on, and teams that get 2 losses get eliminated. you play against equal-scored opponents
in the second round, the r1 winners play other r1 winners, losers play other losers
teams that win twice go to playoffs, teams the lose twice get eliminated
round 3 is the teams that won once and lost once playing each other
i really need more people to not put prx first

The only thing i'd disagree is placing Fut below G2. Dont get me wrong, G2 is a good team fundamentally but i can't help to shake the feeling of them lacking firepower and aggressiveness which make their gameplay so monotonous especially on defense whereas FUT is more flexible in terms on their defense gameplay
