Sang this at church last week. Like 'In Christ Alone', it's so profoundly written and centres on the truth. The Gospel is something not even the most intellectual person could comprehend. Yes the power of the Gospel is foolish but the victory of Christ is already at hand. The Joy as a God's child is ongoing and you can mock us as much as you like but in the end, His glory prevails!
Preaching of God is foolishness to those who do not believe, but I believe everyone one time or another who is lost has heard that voice that speaks to the heart, that is His spirit, and my faith is not a belief, it is a knowing that God lives in me and those of you who are lost do not know what your missing.
