I will show you how to install them with and without the Custom Dynamics Magic Strobes. With the strobes, you have to do a simple modification to have proper functionality.
    Please join me as I do this install on my 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special.
    I would like to thank Kevin at Custom Dynamics for helping with some knowledge on this install.

    Looks good man. I have the Ciro3D bag blades like those but I think I had to pay around $299. I bought them almost 2 yrs ago when they first came out. Probably would have went with these if they had them back then. Look very similar but with a hefty discount. Thanks for the video man.

      They have different lights for different manufacturers. They mainly deal with HD and Indian. Check their website and hopefully that will get your answer.

    I like this kit. I have a softail which I added saddle bags to it. Is there a sequential light kit for a softail install?

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 2 lety

      Don't know if it will work on Softail, but in theory, it should. I'd call them and ask.

      Really isn’t that bad, but it’s tight. I believe I have 3-4 harnesses now but they all fit.

    Just curious how you ran you wiring from bcm to the bags? Did you just run them out under the seat? I did and dont like seeing the wires. Thanks for any info and your bike look sick bud

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 4 lety

      Thanks man. I did put them under the seat and put a couple zip ties and a couple pieces of black tape. I left like 4-5 inches at end for quick disconnect.

    • @diffman75
      @diffman75 Před 4 lety

      @@Broncoride thanks for the info. I just dont like seeing the wire between the seat and bag. I'm going to try and find a Alternate route so I can hide them better. Ride safe and keep shiny side up and rubber side down.

    Awesome video, they prolly need you to do there videos, lol. I do have a question, I installed the sequential turn signals and plasma rods. I did away with the factory turn signals and bar, license plate. I hooked up first towards the rear fender the magic strobe then everything else. Everything seems to be working correct. Just wondering if it is correct,, lol. I have a video I could send you.

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 4 lety +1

      Sounds correct. It can change depending on what lights you have installed. Has to be daisy chained a certain way. If it’s working for you, sounds like you did correct sequence. They have tech support there that will verify you did it right. I’ve done that a couple times and they were very helpful.

    thats interesting.. I do not remember seeing that lead with the positap at all on the set I have...

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 4 lety +1

      They are standard now on what they send out. Think the first run ones didn’t have it, but they’ll send it to you if needed. You only use it If you want to use the strobes with sequential.

    • @Touringmidwest
      @Touringmidwest Před 4 lety

      @@Broncoride makes sense.. I'm not worried about the strobes... the thing already about throws me into a seizure when I'm looking at it lol... I should make sure to hook it up before the magic strobe though, that might be why I don't think mine look quite right when the signals are on.

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 4 lety

      Yes, the sequence of the input/output makes the difference.

    hey, i just found this video, and i wanted to ask did the module with the wire and tap, come with the magic strobes device like one complete unit? from custom dynamics? thanks

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 2 lety

      No, when I did the install, the sequential lights came with the posi-tap, but I bought the strobes earlier. Don’t know if they have one kit with both sequential and the strobes.

  • @johnchargualaf6599
    @johnchargualaf6599 Před 2 lety

    Thx for a great video!!! Does the red wire come from CD for the magic strobe? Tia

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 2 lety +1

      Ty. It comes on the sequential harness. Then you only use posi-tap if you want the sequential lights to flash with strobe. If you want just normal brake, then you don’t need to do.

  • @dellajoh
    @dellajoh Před 10 měsíci

    Do the turn signals flash Amber or red? Hard to tell in video.

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 4 lety

      Call them. It’s probably just two connectors needing switched. They will walk you through it. Happened to me on one product and I just had to change the sequencing and it worked fine.

    How do you add those when filler lights are installed also? 2021 road glide limited. Is it possible?

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 3 lety

      To my knowledge, you can still do it. I’d call CD just to make sure.

  • @GruntHarley
    @GruntHarley Před 2 lety

    Followed instructions to the T. My bag lights indicate left and right turn lights and run lights as well. No brake lights and they don’t strobe either any ideas?

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  Před 2 lety

      Sounds like the harnesses might be mixed. Start with from the rear brake plug, then new harness, then strobe. If that doesn’t work, call CD directly. Their tech support is solid and they will walk you through.

      Check the JAE clip and make sure the wires are all pushed through. That usually is the case when this happens. I use a tiny screwdriver to push them in to the JAE clip.
