    Great fun with our first flights of these new mini warbirds from Eachine. Just charge up the flight batteries with the provided USB charge lead, put 4 AA batteries in the transmitter, push on the propeller and go fly !
    WHAT'S GOOD?
    No assembly required
    Easy to hand launch (not in Expert mode). Full throttle and throw
    Ultra durable. They can take a knock !
    Long flight times. Over 10 minutes !
    Huge fun if you fly with others
    Good for noobs in Beginner mode but in a wide open space only
    WHAT'S BAD?
    Expert mode makes them very sensitive. Medium mode is best.

    These little planes are amazing! I have the BF109 and mini F-16, I love them both. The F-16 can handle wind a bit better however, the camber of the BF109 wing actually creates a bit too much lift in heavy winds. Nonetheless these are incredible planes.

    Paint your props a bright red/yellow/orange with a magic marker boys. Makes 'em MUCH easier to find in the grass. Also best to keep the 3-bladers for display purposes. They break much easier than the 2-bladers. 🙂

      @ridingdeep8530 Před 2 lety +1

      100% true, I love my BF109, but the props are fairly easy to break. I have ordered a few of the Mustang double props to see how that will work, as well as a few more tri-props.

      I painted the 2 blade prop and the wingtips of my Spitfire yellow, makes it much easier to see in the air, especially against a dark backdrop. I just used some acrylic, I can take it off easily at a later date, once I'm better at flying. It's been great fun so far! A few crashes but no damage at all! I'm getting the hang of landing now.

    The only music to listen with this video : Iron Maiden "Aces High" ... BF-109 is also known (later) by ME-109.

    These are so much fun aren't they and it was great to see them essentially survive a mid-air collision. How many RC planes could do that? From the video I think the BF109 lost one of the three props too. I display using the 3 blades and fly usually on 2 blades as they seem less easy to break. Also come off power when landing on grass to save that prop.

    OUTSTANDING!
    I want both of them! It's too bad they aren't as cheap as they were when the P51D first came out.
    Could you find & insert the multimodule configuration for these models here?
    I understand these little planes are more stabile & controllable when run using a hobby grade transmitter with multimodel capability like Radiomaster or Jumper.
    Thanks! - Jim

    Hi, I have the Spitfire. Do you think it's possible to blind it with a Spektrum transmiter ? How to activate the blinding mode of the receiver ? Thanks a lot, David.

    • @EssentialRC
      @EssentialRC  Před 22 dny

      Definitely not. Spektrum uses DSM2 or DSMX protocol. These aeroplanes use something different.

  • @SmallScaleSteam
    @SmallScaleSteam Před 2 lety +1

    How many do you have to buy to get one that works ? I bought a Mustang - delivered with an aileron servo that didn't work. I bought a Trojan - did 4 perfect flights, but after the 5th the servos worked but the motor didn't run. I have just bought a Spitfire and that was delivered with the rudder almost completely broken away from the stabiliser. Great planes or cheap rubbish ?

    • @EssentialRC
      @EssentialRC  Před 2 lety

    • @SmallScaleSteam
      @SmallScaleSteam Před 2 lety

      @@EssentialRC The packaging was perfect. In the case of the Spitfire the problem looked like a manufacturing fault. Sadly getting a replacement (or full refund) is proving difficult.

      @@EssentialRC I wouldn't give too much credence to the claims of multiple defective units from the poster SmallScaleSteam Dom. I seem to remember checking his profile after another reply to a different video which seemed at great variance to my own experience on the subject. The trouble with CZcams is there is no independent way of checking whether respondents are telling the truth or just lying crackpots with a barrow to push! ;-)

      Newer versions uave an upgraded reciever board and transmitter that gives low power and lost signal warnings, with a signal loss failsafe.

    A quick question. These models were being sold every where for a short time but now the Spit is only on Banggood. I have noticed how some really good models run for a short period and then dissapear really quickly. The Electric R/C GEE BEE R3 was my dream plane but by the time I had enough money it dissapeared off the market. Cant find one anywhere. If they are so good why do they stop making them and why so quickly? Is it because there isnt such a big RC community now days world wide?
