- I don't eat sushi, but I thought I'd give it a try since I've been to Japan a few times already. I met up with my friend John from "Only in Japan" so he can show me what sushi is all about. I have to say I liked the tuna a lot! With his help, I had a great and fun experience at Sushizanmai.

terry_r3d raw steak can be eaten raw since usually cows are only fed naturally through grass and beer and don’t accumulate any major bacteria. So you can eat raw beef.

I'm watching this at 3am. Now where the hell do I find a sushi restaurant at this time of night? I'm starving and salivating.
we used to go scuba diving for the sea urchin. make a pot of rice and eat it at the camp site. The best is buttery and nutty, but with the taste of the sea and a very slight bitterness that is barely there. They are still alive and fresh just before you crack it open and scoop the roe /gonads out!

Mikey, your not supposed to dip the rice in the soy sauce. That's why your rice was falling apart. You turn the sushi and dip the fish. But then like John said you do whatever you like.

Hey, Sushi Zanmai rocks. You can eat sushi 24 hours and like John says, it's intermediate level sushi and you can always get a consistent meal. I went to the Ueno and Yurakucho branch and they are both consistent. I just got back yesterday and I want them to put a branch right in front of my house so I can go every day. For real.

maplebobo it’s effin good, even here in America we have pretty good sushi, I can’t imagine how great it probably is in japan, it’s a life goal of mine to go to japan, specifically for food.
For me the first time i had sushi i was more focused on the experience and the idea i was eating raw food and i missed out on the flavor somewhat . The second time was freaking heaven. That was 20 years ago and i am totally addicted :P
Oh, I read that wrong. I thought you said, "I never had sushi. I never will eat sushi." I was going to respond, "good, now there's more for me." My dad always said that when would turn my nose up at some food. I always thought that was a funny thing to say, but it made me wonder what was I missing, so I would try it.
