I love how Luigi is given dialogue rather than being a semi-mute like Mario who speaks in small quotations. I think the other times we've seen him talk in full sentences was the dream sequence in Dream Team and the Paper Mario series.
I know it's silly thing to talk about, but I like how they've given him a lot more character in doing this.

I was worried that Nintendo would be lazy with this minigame and it would end up being half-baked. But I'm glad to see how much effort was put into it. Even if he isn’t playable, Luigi is just as lifelike as Mario in Odyssey. Charles Martinet recorded new voice clips for him, he's seen sweating in hot kingdoms and shivering in cold kingdoms, he makes certain comments if you talk to him wearing certain outfits and when Find It mode is on, he's dancing to the music. It’s adorable. Not to mention the promotional art of him is gorgeous.
Exactly! Luigi is my most favorite character ever and i’m honestly just happy he made it into the game at all. It’s more than what Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine did (Luigi was completely absent from both games) And Odyssey is the successor of those 2. Luigi is very animated in this game and he has the same detailed textures Mario has in Odyssey. I’m just happy he’s in Odyssey whether playable or not
