In this video, Jesse has a deadly 1v1 shootout for money, or "Winner Takes All" like in the Wild West, they have a shootout and Jesse wins, then the guy's friend reaches for a gun and try to take out Jesse.

Jessie being smarter than his opponent is one of the most satisfying, yet rare thing to happen throughout the franchise-- good that El Camino capitalized on that aspect of Jessie.
I wouldn’t say it is rare as Jessie is always presented as very street smart and resourceful . For example when ,despite having a rifle pointed at his head by Tuco clearly in a lot of stress , he is still able to find a rock to knock out Tuco
It's just a shame he was 5 years older than he was earlier that afternoon and past Todd was 50lbs heavier, and Skinny Pete was even Skinnier. That's what happens when you make a movie like 6 years later but it takes place the same week lol.

Did you mean "bEtch."
Dude was mighty confident when he thought all Jesse had was a 22.
A .22 might not be enough to take down a large animal, such as a bear, but it's more than enough to kill a human being. Don't scoff at a .22. There's a reason there are/have been so many of them in production. The only way you're surviving a shot from a .22 to your vital areas is because you're wearing body armor (kevlar for example). .22s are meant for soft targets, and do just fine at that.
A .22 is absolutely deadly. One of the most devastating calibers. It can enter but won't have the power to leave, it'll bounce off your bones and shred everything. Almost zero recoil. These caliber jockey rider stuff is bs when your ass gets shot, your ass gets shot.
@@GMM_munkey55 I can't stand it when idiots think they know what they're talking about, but don't. Guns are meant to kill things, regardless of caliber. Sure, some higher caliber weapons or different types of bullets are meant for different targets or tasks, but they all are capable of killing a person in the right circumstances. Your average unarmored human being will definitely die from a .22. Even if they are armored, a headshot or face-shot will bypass that.
Armor piercing bullets are meant to go through armor, obviously. Higher caliber weapons, like the .45 or .50 are meant to take down larger and/or armored targets. The odds, however, of a home invader wearing body armor are next to nil. So, for home defense, a .22 is just fine.
@Derek Wrede that's bullshit, mostly, it certainly can kill, and you don't want to be shot with it, but it's nowhere near reliable enough to stake your life on, even considering the extra shots it gets, the fact it's a rimfire cartridge is a deal breaker for me, every brick I've had lately has had either a hangfire or a misfire, one time, the primer didn't ignite the powder and the round just got stuck in the barrel, if I had just cycled the action and tried to fire again, it may have resulted in damage to myself or my gun.
@@domvasta Then that's a problem with proper gun maintenance, and not the gun itself. If you properly clean and maintain your gun, use it properly, and use the correct ammunition, it won't jam or get bullets stuck in the barrel.

Jesse's face afterwards. he didn't want to do It. wasn't out of malice or ego. He had a rough story, and turned into one of the best characters in the film
One valuable lesson learned in Jessie's journey was that the winners never play fair.

He has a 1911 and it isn't cocked and locked?! If he's pulling back that hammer he hasn't even chambered a round! 🤣😂
You say “he had a 1911 and it isn’t cocked and locked?” Then you very incorrectly mention that if it’s
not cocked there isn’t a round in the chamber.
What this tells me is that you don’t have any experience with exposed hammer SAO or DA/SA pistols and that you likely only have experience with striker fired like a Glock or xD.
I’ve carried exposed hammer SAO, exposed DA/SA, and striker so I know you are thinking about striker fired!
Early 1911s couldn’t be trusted to be left cocked and unlocked and honestly I wouldn’t even trust cocked and locked with early examples. But bottom line is that it’s easier to recock a 1911 than flip the safety if the gun is still holstered so they basically serve the same purpose. Cocked and locked and hopefully your gun doesn’t go off. Unlocked and uncocked there is no chance of an accidental discharge.
Anyways I’m surprised you aren’t aware of this but with SAO and DA/SA you can chamber a round and then decock the pistol unlike with a striker fired pistol. In fact some guns even have a decocker for that exact purpose but those are usually DA/SA and they can be fired with the hammer down unlike the 1911.
Anyways hope that kind of clarifies the 1911.
