The general expertise shown is impressive. He's a great builder, a great redstoner, and is very good at Minecraft. He's also very organized. There's also the fact that he receives many views for these projects which give him motivation to put his skills to use.

Hey Cookie! To reduce lag in your storage room, you can place composters on top of the hoppers. This will deactivate the hoppers recognition to pick things up from above!

I literally just started a survival series with a Japanese style build and ran into the same problem. Spent hours coming up with a design I was so proud of then I see this; which is basically just a better version of mine đ seriously impressive

i mean if you just look up a tutorial for an automatic sorting storage system you can get pretty close to this with a little bit of imagination
I played this video on like 0.5 speed and copied his red stone design and did my own exterior building. But using the CZcams playback speed option really helped.

From the front, attach two hoppers to the right side of the build. On the rightmost hopper, place a chest. This is where you will put items to be sorted. The material in this chest will filter through the hoppers in the top row, finding the spot for the given item

As a Redstoner, good job on the sorting system! It's nice & cool! Also, to reduce lag place composters above the hoppers that aren't really part of the items sorters to cancel the detection of the items.

I think you can put some painting on the flat wall for decoration.
Honestly I would've put a workshop in the attic with a bunch of different crafting tables, furnaces, stone cutters etc.

Personally, item sorters are an extremely easy redstone build and he was just copying it over and over which still isnât hard so I wouldnât call it amazing redstone, but I still like his content.

I'd be eager to try to construct an auto-sorter system, only your descriptions for your creations are... vague - I'd be interested in seeing the work behind your work
Iâm pretty sure the build is a variant of Shulkercraftâs storage system (edit: the simple one is in an older vid, not the new one they did)- has the same perpendicular set-up for the shulker box loader & de-loader
the auto sorter he used, it the age old ImpulseSV sorter, copy-pasted lots of times. It basically selects 1 type of item, and pulls it out from a hopperline going above it. But with so many, he can select quite a few. It's one of the most used sorter designs, since it's so easy and fast to build, and due to it being overflowproof.

You should put composters over hopers to reduce the lag.
And where you don't need hopers (to bring items down) use despencer and hopper at the bottom

Basically for all projects with a lot of hoppers any hopper that isn't taking in items from above you should put a composter above it. It makes it so that the hopper isn't constantly looking for items to pick up

When u want to place it like a normal stair (on another stair), right click on the bottom of the other stair. If u wanna place it upside down u shld right click on the top of the stair.
