Garo Origins: Roopkund Skeletons, Bones of Garo Ancestors?

- There's a record in Garo folklore that, during the migration from Tibet, while passing through Garhwal Hills (in Uttarakhand), a lot of Garos perished at Roopkund Lake (also known as "Skeleton Lake"). It is estimated that about 300-800 skeletons are present in the lake. Are the skeletons at Roopkund Lake the bones of the ancestors of the Garos?
As a Bodo from Assam who share some historic similarities with Garos can say that migration among us might be through the eastern part of arunachal and nagaland...then we spread in whole north east India and neibouring countries.. During our migration we evolved and reached today's status...A research says that We Bodo Garo Dimasa etc that's known as Bodo garo linguistic group has some austric blood and that's because we completely marginalized austric people in Assam
In our recorded history, there were three migratory groups. One group came via today's Sikkim/Kalimpong area, one group came via Myanmar and one group along the Tsang-Po. The first group which came via Sikkim settled for a long time at Cooch Behar. Later they moved out, and it was at Rangamati (in today's Bangladesh) two sisters parted ways. The elder sister's descendants became the Bodos. That's how it's recorded in our history and it's just our version, and it may differ from yours.

We need archaeologists from Garo Hills since I don't find any. If there were some archeologist, they will surely be interested in researching about the History Of Garos. But the society always want the youths to become only doctor and engineer.
If the DNA tests support, then I could've pinpointed the exact place in Tibet where our ancestors once lived. Alas, no solid outcomes so far.

It's the history of just one group of Garos, and probably your ancestors never crossed the Brahmaputra, never fought a single battle with any of the domains of erstwhile Kamrup. In that case, you are right, and it applies just to your group. But the Garos dwelling in the plains of Habraghat has a migration history.
