So this video was a huge help in putting together a very successful show. Kids were going crazy. Adults were shocked. Teens were concerned for my life. Everyone was riveted. I performed to a trimmed version of Seal's Crazy spliced with a trimmed Blur's Song 2. It was about 3 minutes 45 seconds of fear that the balloon would blow at any moment. But it went off without a hitch. Thank you for posting this.
I'd like to offer a suggestion to you based on my experience. When you're done put the balloon in your clothes dryer..... No it will not melt.... Just like 5-10 minutes and it will snap right back to original shape and condition. I've used a signal wide neck balloon 20 times and done this after each use. I also warm it up before I get in as well makes it more pliable for practicing. Have fun. Stay safe!
Kids are going crazy. 100,000 people die from doing this per year. DISCLAMER. IM 12 YEARS OLD IM NOT A BALLOON PERFORMER. well I’m a music performer. Adults scold kids doing this. But thank you for showing us not to be the 99,999th person who dies from this
What tip would you give for wanting to tie the balloon? Ive seen one performer use a black velcro thing that ive never been able to find. Others have used a clip that the balloon manufacturers sell. And theres also been using a smaller balloon to stuff into the mouth of the balloon
Hmm. I don't do that myself, but I know that you can get those velcro chord ties at your local home center, like Lloyds, Menards, Home Depot, probably even Walmart. I've also seen some reusable zip ties that might do a pretty good job. A lot of people are really loving those. I'll bet they would work well on a big balloon.
Hi Pete. Where would you recommend buying this from, considering I live in the UK? And I found quite a big range of prices - which "brand" would you recommend that is not very costly, please?
This is the tricky part. I've done some business with BubbleXL out of Denmark and their customer service was excellent. You might want to give them a try. I traditionally have used Rifco balloons, but the ones from BubbleXL were the ones with the bigger neck that I used in the video. They were just as good quality-wise I think.
@@heypete1827 Hi Pete, me again. Other than a leaf blower, what else could be used to fill the balloon? Would a hair dryer on cold mode have the power? Many thanks.
No. Sadly a hair dryer just won't have the power. There are some cool cordless leaf blowers that seem to work well for this though. But I don't have one, so I can't recommend any.

Hey great! Thanks for sharing that!
when we put it in, just bare balloon? or do we put something around it like a pillowcase?
Thank you for explaining this. I plan on doing this myself for a kid‘s show.
Awesome! Have fun.
Awesome what a great share

Thanks Pete. Where do you buy your balloons at?
For years I bought them from Continental Sales and in 2023 they closed. I got the new wider necked ones from BubbleXL. They are in the Netherlands.
