So many people making comments about not going back to Bali after seeing this video. Yes there are some pockets that are struggling. But we all do know that tourism is Bali‘s main income. Those who have been there multiple times like myself should be grateful for this beautiful island. I’m not going to turn my back on it in these troubled times..we are the ones who will bring it back to life because their government sure as hell won’t help them.

No matter if it's Bali, Chicago, Stockholm or Liverpool. When the graffiti takes over you know the area is unsafe and going down hill. They should remove all that graffiti from poppies (and the rest of Bali) for a start.
Hopefully bali will be cleaner and safer.. so people can enjoy their holiday more
Thanks for the video. I did not enter Poppies Lane 1 at night as it was too dark. Poppies Lane 2 was safer, as it was better lit and there were Pecalong in this lane.

I was scared walking through Poppies 1 during the day on Friday. Most things were closed except Poppies Restaurant.
Chloe, Poppies 1 Lane does not look like an attractive tourist destination. Poppies 2 is more attractive. Many older tourists have been walking around these lanes looking for people and places, they remembered pre-pandemic.
Pizza.... ?.yang terenak di seluruh dunia Pizza Bali Garden.......nyata tidak Hoax sebab pembelinya Wisatawan dunia tempat makanan nya Indah di pinggir pantai Kuta yang sangat Indah.......
Unfortunately it will take a while longer for things to improve in Bali and anywhere else for that matter. Poppies 1 & 2 at the moment looks dirty and tired😪 and not worth seeing in this state. I can’t see myself returning to Bali anytime soon unfortunately. I wish all the best to the locals. Fingers crossed that they do something to cleanup the graffiti and make the surrounding area more pleasant on the eye and worth visiting again.

Why wouldn’t you go back “anytime soon “. Wouldn’t you want to go back to help the situation ? Help the people ? You know that Bali thrives on tourism. ?? If everyone had your view then Bali would never get a chance to get back on its feet coz their government ain’t gonna bail them out. Shame that you turn your back on such a beautiful island just because it’s not up to scratch. Shame.

I was robbed in kuta last night.
By a girl who was posing as a driver. grabbed my wallet emptied it and ran into a closed down hotel called okie house. 3-4 big, fat guys came out and stopped me from following her.
Don't come to kuta.

@@patriciap7891 poppies lane 2. I was about to get a gojek back to ubud.and the girl offered to match the price on the app. Im pretty certain Her friend and one of the guys who stopped me from chasing her is actually in this video, at the end on the left with a white hat on.
By the time I found the police they were all gone for the night.

I was stopped by an older woman on a scooter in Poppies Lane 2 who offered to give me a lift. I declined as I thought she was a prostitute. When I wanted a ojek, I would walk to Jalan Legian and take a Gojek scooter. I only used Gojek scooters in Bali. I never had a problem with Gojek scooters. I took out the exact money to pay the Gojek rider and put it in my pocket to pay the rider at the end of the ride. I never showed my wallet. All the Gojek riders I used were male.

It's good that the police and pecalang crack down on the thieves and pickpocketers. It's not good for Bali, and I think it's the same few people.
The police should set up an operation, and undercovers could pose as victims. They'll catch them for sure that way. 🙂
It was in the news last time that they did clear all those thievs and now pecalang also monitoring. Hopefully no more crime...
