- Brad Mondo came out with his own color! I tried the purple and I think it turned out really good! Let me know if you guys want to see the other colors!

And I was wondering how long should you leave purple shampoo on your hair? Some people say 5 minutes while other people say 30 minutes I would be very grateful if you would respond! Hope your having a good day/night!

@@galaxygacha5377 follow the manufacturer’s directions on the bottle. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a purple shampoo that’s meant to be left on for over 10 minutes because purple shampoo and toner aren’t the same. Just follow the recommended time on the bottle.
It's nice to see, not everybody wants to have a very bright color. I have dark hair too and I dont really want to bleach my hair.
I'm glad you DO do your hair with it being dark. As someone with dark hair who doesn't want to have to bleach her head in inorder to get color on it, it's nice to see real life color examples to show how it will turn out!

It blows my mind when people say Brad isn’t a real hairstylist cause there IS proof of him working in salons, just because not everyone can find that proof doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, us locals to Brad’s area know what’s up.

In his defense, he released this product in the middle of a worldwide glove shortage. That might be why gloves aren't included in the box.
@Rylan Marino I did use my hands with the super pink the first time I used it. It did stain my hands BUT it came out reasonably quickly with just dawn dish soap and several washes. lol.
Weird. I have never bought a bright hair color with gloves and I’ve tried nearly every brand out there
So you are the only one i can find so far that dyes your hair without trying to lighten it and i just need to say thank you so much. Everyone tries to bleach first and i just totally never want to but i also never want to try color cause i never knew if it would show so your channel is super helpful for me and your reviews on the hair dye products are just everything i needed so please dont ever stop 😁

Brads color also re-bonds the integrity of the hair follicle, overtone doesn’t do that

@@SimplyKatieAnn Don't be too worried. I tried blue in my naturally dark brown hair years ago. It didn't do much, just gave it a slight blue tint in the light. It looked good. Didn't damage my hair or anything, was just a smidge underwhelming, but was still a good experience. I'd say try it!

It depend on the hair type , my hair can last up to 4 to 6 month

That purple plum color looks so beautiful on you! My hair is nearly to my waist, a mix of gray and light brown/dark blonde, very dry at the ends. I decided to try the Super Pink and ordered it over Black Friday weekend. Never used semipermanent color before. Easy peasy, like you showed. I only colored one strip on each side of my face because (a) long, long hair - it took forever already, and (b) I didn't want to use the entire jar in case I hated it. Let it process for 25 minutes. Love the smell, *love* the super pink color, but I'm also very happy with the mauve color it turned out given I didn't bleach. Only disappointing thing is after one shampoo it's about 70% gone. I was hoping to get at least 3 washes before it faded so much, but ah well. For people who don't have so much gray hair, it should last a lot longer. Next time I'll process for 40 minutes, and see if that helps.
I have a mix of gray and natural brown I have done a lot of semi permanent pinks on my hair. I find leaving it on with a shower cap for an hour or two will make a big difference and some brands react differently to your hair than others. For longer staining, I am loving lunar tides, and iroiro. The nice thing with semi permanent is that they are non damaging or conditioning. Some formulas are designed to wash out faster and some last forever.
Your hair looks healthy and that's important. Nice color for you. I've been using semi purple over my brown hair for several years (now more grey than brown) and it's similar to yours. I love how it looks too. I'll try XMondo soon.
So cool. I was thinking probably wouldn't be true color on our darker hair but it definitely nice have a little color every so often.
Love this! Happy to hear it smells better than overtone. I don't mind the minty smell at first but the lingering scent really bothers me. That & the pillowcase/face staining lol
I think you should do both pink and blue too! My hair is literally the same color as yours & I’d love to see how they turn out so I can decide if I could dye my hair without bleaching first!

Your hair is about the same as my sister's and a bit darker than mine, but not too much. We were wanting to try his colors for New Year's but didn't want to waste money if it wasn't really going to show up. We were hoping for about how yours turned out, so this was very helpful! It turned out lovely on you!
If you want to give it the best chance at showing up more vibrantly I would leave it on for an hour or more instead of just 20 mins, I do this with every semi-permanent color I use so that the color has more time to soak into the hair

Oh thank you! I actually don't use anything special I just try to avoid using a lot of heat on my hair and try not to wash it every single day that's kinda it! lol
I have only used overtone to color my hair but lately been thinking about trying xmondo color but was scared to because I also have dark hair, but after seeing this I think I'm going to go for it. Thank you.
Its fun to change it up without making a huge commitment, if you don't like it you can always just wash it out :)

It looks good considering you had very dark hair to start off with, I want to try his hair dye so bad but my hair is waist length it would cost me so much, I would probably need two containers at least. I think blue would look great on you.
If you don't mind weakening the formula/lightening the color you could get one container and dilute it with conditioner

I just put turquoise in my brown hair. Slightly changed to a green, but it's barely changed. I'm still happy with it. Next time I'm definitely bleaching first

Most likely not, any dye pretty much stops being active after 20 minutes. You can leave a bag on to stop the drying but there's only so much it will do. Dye doesn't work as lightener and vice versa.
I just ordered the blue . My hair is about the same color as yours and I hope I get that same subtle color as yours just in blue

@@loriwilson7666 yes, I did it on my previously colored dark hair. It didn't show up at all. It may have even made it a little darker. I have not bleached it at the bottom and am letting it rest a week or so before I bleach it again. I will send pics when I get the blue on.

I wonder if this would work on my hair? I've been using got2b metallics for about a year to maintain my purple hair, but now it just keeps fading out to a weird maroon brown color after a couple weeks.... and I really dont want to use permanent dye that frequently. I am looking for a healthier option. Also I do not want to bleach my hair, as it is so thin, I dont think it would be safe. Anyone know how this color reacts with purple box dye? Do you think it would work out?

I wouldn’t say it really lightened my hair, it just added the purple tint but it did turn out plum I think because my hair had a slight red undertone to it to start possibly?

I have dark curly hair. Is it okay for me to put gel in my hair after it dries? And does the color stay in until the next time you wash your hair?
So after you let it sit in your hair for about 20 min you will want to rinse it out and then you can do whatever you want to it lol it last about 2 weeks, if you wash your hair alot it will probably only last about a weekish.
