- Well, Kamala Harrris has selected her Vice President, and quite frankly we were shocked. Many of us thought she would pick Josh Shapiro, as he is a fairly popular governor, a little more moderate and of course is in a state Kamala absolutely has to win, so from a strategic perspective this choice doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense…or does it? Today, we are going to explore who exactly Tim Walz is and ask the questions…why was he picked, and how will this impact the race?

A HS friend of mine shuttered his family’s business because of the Covid shutdown. A whole area of St Paul lost iconic small businesses. What a putz.
I live in MN. He brings the worst kind of humanity to the party. Among other atrocities, he was responsible for the death of hundreds of nursing home residents by forcing the facilities to take in plandemic virus carriers.
He's the kind of human for which capital punishment was created.
Walz has completely destroyed my state. My goal is moving out of here to SD or IA as soon as possible. There is no fix to it. It's done. Sad part is, the metro areas win out over the rural areas every election. I'd love it if the entire rest of the state could secede from Minneapolis. The rural areas, which is most of the state are all red.

I left. I was born and raised in Oregon. All my family live there (they are all right-leaning conservatives. Never voted for any of the Democrats that have gotten in). But I'm done. I moved to a red state and will never look back.
I will never vote Democrat. Once they sink their teeth in, you can't get rid of them.

I'm a little surprised that you didn't look into his military service. Just this Morning I watched a Megyn Kelly video where she interviewed someone who served with him. He was never a CSM. He was a Master Sargeant who was an acting CSM. He never completed the SGM school. That's also stolen valor.
I was in the National Guard in Georgia and knew several soldiers who claimed schools, commendations, and combat that they did not earn. It is human nature to lie.

Governor Tim Walz is the perfect pick for Kamala Harris. He lived in Communist China. He had his honeymoon in Communist China. By his own admission, he visited Communist China over 30 times since then. He clearly has an admiration and affection for Communist China. He is perhaps the most left-wing governor in the United States paralleling many Communists China policies. He fiddled as Minneapolis burned. He is pro BLM and anti-police. He believes in an open border. Walz desires Minnesota to be a sanctuary state. He believes illegal aliens should get free medical care, education and college. Walz is pro socialized medicine and anti-2nd Amendment. He responded to COVID with heavy-handed pandemic restrictions, including lockdowns and mask mandates. He set up a Communist like hotline to report fellow citizens who violated COVID-19 mandates. His policies resulted in slow economic growth for his state, with 0.8% growth compared with 2.7% nationwide for the same period of time. His arrest for drunk driving in the mid-90s, was handled poorly by Walz and resulted in a conviction. While in the national guard he abandoned his unit when they were ordered to deploy to Iraq. He believes in the state taking away children from parents for they can be surgically and chemically mutilated. Walz supports abortions on demand to the moment of birth. Walz is a left-wing “radical” who is greatly out of touch with everyday Americans. He is a clear and present danger to the United States.
Thank you for mentioning the abortion pro choice!!! Everywhere ppl have discussed this issue they leave that one out!!! I believe that issue with the children being sterilized or taking them away from parents is the most important! K8ds also can have an abortion without parents knowledge and teen girls have died from complications and if the parent had known at least they could get them to the ER!!!

Tina, you like many others, need to discover the preamble to the Bill of Rights. The BoR is not so much a grant of rights to the prople as it is a specific list of restrictions on the government.
The BoR was created to PROTECT our God given rights which have always existed both befote and after the creation of the Constitution.
Very concerning to have Walz on a Presidential ticket. As a Minnesota resident I can say he is an embarrassment to us tax-paying citizens and he is a socialist. He proved that during Covid and to this date.

I am a fan of solar, i installed solar on my house and its been great. But when the government mandates x% of energy be generated by renwables, it will drive up the cost of electricity. Now MN in many areas are transitioning to time of use based charges, where it costs significantly more during peak usage. The power company tried to sell it as a cost savings for everyone but for the average user it will drive up their monthly bill.
Those that have any understanding of solar, understand the duck curve when large amounts of solar production are introduced into the grid. This is exacly why California implemented NEM 3.0, which disincentivices people from purchasing solar due to the increases in cost and prolonged ROI.
They have recently installed tens if not a hundreds of megawatts of panels just down the road from my cabin. So much so they had to build a seperate substation for the transport.
Bottom line is that in the north solar is not a reliable consistent power source. There are HUGE seasonal disparities, summer it produces a ton with it being light super early and staying ligght until 10pm, but in december its dark by 4:30pm and super cloudy. On aveeage 54% of the days are sunny, most of those are in the summer. So overall solars not a great consistent energy provider in MN.
In Texas solar works pretty well, particularly in sunniest weather close to when AC peaks demand. Unfortunately actual peak demand is when people get home 5-7 and crank down the thermostat. By that time solar is on way down from its peak. Second issue with solar is that panels are vulnerable to hail - and we often get large (4”+) wind driven hail.

In Florida we don't really get hail, but we do get hurricanes, which roof mount solar actually reenforces your roof as it's connecting the trusses. I was 8 miles from landfall with Ian I saw one panel off and one shattered after Ian the rest were all intact.

Recently, Antifa has been putting more emphasis on firearms training, particularly for their “Black Bloc” street fighters. The John Brown Gun Club, which started in Seattle is now expanding nationwide. They give firearms training (among other things) to Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and other Far-Left groups.
I definitely recommend that people watch “The Fall of Minneapolis”. It reveals his horrible leadership during the 2020 riots in Minneapolis.

In the 70’s, I applied for food stamps (single working female). I was refused because I would have to pay $50.00/mo. For the food stamps. I didn’t have $50.00/mo. To spare! Same for housing. They had a new apartment bldg. where I applied and I was refused because because the cost was over 1/2 of my salary! I had an apartment where I paid my utilities. It was more than it would have been with the government discount and I couldn’t get it. How can they be helping people.

Michigan did not have a valid vote in 2020 or 2022 and I don't expect it now. Blocked windows in the venue of the state count has never happened before. This primary vote on 6 Aug 24 I voted in person after work so about 1800 and I was 175 for the day. I commented on the low turnout and was told that there were several hundred mail in votes.
😊By destruction of all of the monuments and statues of the past/historic figures, no matter which side they fought for is denial of our past. They are trying to whitewash what had happened. We need to remember where we came from, what was fought for so we do not repeat it. I research to discover the past and find ways to share it so we will have a better understanding how we came to today.
