I’ve always loved this incredible band, following them since the 80’s , one of the greatest indie pop bands from England.I hope they continue to put out music, there’s not enough good music nowadays.
Such a fresh, vibrant, catchy song... always expected when you know of The Primitives! Great to hear Tracy Tracy and Paul sharing the vocals... Paul is very good on some lead songs as is Tracy Tracy. Primitives perfection!
LYRICS It's enough to know that you will be there To take away all troubles and cares You brightened yesterday And I promise to repay I will give you my tomorrow I swear When the dark surrounds there's a light at the end Oh honey sweet I think of you then Away from this sad world I can be Freed from the chains that eyes cannot see And in some hour of need Should doubt and fear succeed Back in your saving arms I will be When the dark surrounds there's a light at the end Oh honey sweet I think of you then
I was pretty close to the stage when the prims came to LA. They performed this song. Tracy was about ten feet away, up on the stage, waiting for the end part where she sings that high note like at 2:18. She went to take a breath, I looked back at Paul, who suddenly ended the song dead right there, quickly looked back at Tracy, and since I was the only guy who turned quickly, she turned quickly to look at me and for a whole split second our eyes met. No point to the story, just bragging. I've looked in her eyes, you guys haven't. Nanner nanner. :)
Why is she even in this video? That's the question. Not a good track, I'm afraid. You need another Spin-O-Rama hit. Light, pop and jangle. That's the Classic Primitive formula you guys should stick at.

Underrated!!
I am digging this. I never knew he sang. Bad ass tune
I keep coming back to this video. I love his voice. Reminds me of a mixture of other group. Loving this band so much since the late 80s and 90s
You and me both. This is the sound I have always wanted but didn't know it.
Love, love, love this EP. Can’t wait for a new album. “Spin-o-rama” was great, a real return to form.
Very nice tune. Reminded me of the Stone Roses vibe!
What a lovely song, one of their best.
Great song! Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Central America.

She is so hot. I've always had a crush on her... and still do

Song is more addictive than heroin.
So much better when I was 16 and Drunk syill stuck in a Boys only school...True pop IDOL but I grew up got my own real girlfriends.
They should leave the vocals to Tracy!
Naw, he does a great job
Bit flimsy this I'm afraid, & Court looks like a stern school teacher more than a rockstar these days.
Ok simon
You sure turned into a cranky boomer didn't you 🤣

Probably because she's the lead singer and has lines in the song.
Man, cut the crap
