  • I'm hoarding copper pennies, U.S. pennies and Canadian. US copper pennies are 95 percent copper and ended in 1982, but Canadian copper pennies went until 1996, and they are 98 percent copper. And sometimes.... Like this one, you find a lot of Canadian copper pennies. Also Wheat penny success too. You should check it out. This is the stuff you could find too.
Hoarding copper pennies has become a huge American pass time, and is fun and profitable. Copper penny hoarding is also a favorite hobby in Canada, but they are harder to come by.

Great box! I had a box like that on July 4th. 949 coppers with a bunch of almost perfect 60s and 70s. Surprisingly, I only got 3 wheats. All I can figure is someone had a penny jar for many years and pulled out the wheaties before cashing then in. It was my worst wheat box but my best copper box by far.

@@donnussbaum4234 that's the kind of trade off you are happy with. Great box.... I went back today and got another box, I hope it's a good one too

It’s amazing to find a 1940 s penny still in circulation. Almost unc condition. Or a Indian head cent still in circulation. Often I try to imagine how that could be. People are probably cashing in change in the catch all drawer. Great box indeed!!! Excellent video as well!!

Laminate error on the 1965 Lincoln Memorial. Keep the 1965 Canadians. There’s 4-5 varieties.

Great hunt! I hope you kept track of all of the things that you were going to show us. I’m looking forward to it.
I don’t know how much room you have, but I would keep all the nice looking pennies. If or when they stop minting them, some people might want to start collecting them.
I weigh all of my 1983’s, you never know 🤞
And just so you know, I would have definitely watched you for a hour. 😁👍🙏 Take care.

@@noicue8078 you are very kind... I will try in the next few days to get the video made of the things to edited out. I'm saving quite a few of the nice pennies, but I could save even more. Maybe I should.

The 1951 Lincoln wheat Penny looks to be a mint error. Incomplete strike is what I’m thinking.

% where ours is 95%. On eBay the Canadian sell for more.
