PC Means personal collection. Today we have our first video from Kentucky with Jimmy Mahan aka @kentuckybasketballcards from the Kentucky Road Show. One of the most passionate genuine sports card collectors and human beings you could meet in your life.
The Kentucky Road Show Museum was a one of a kind experience located in Lexington, Ky. Jimmy's Kentucky Roadshow is one of the best experiences you could have when out here in Kentucky. Tons of sports cards, sports card collectibles, autographs, and memorabilia. The University of Kentucky Wildcats Mancave is unbelievable.
Every single kentucky card is a game used and on card autograph for the majority of these. Michael Jordan and Lebron James cards you just won't see in public. You don't run across these types of card collection very often. I think his entire collection is worth well more than 1 million dollars.
Whether you are a sports card investor, card collector, or card flipper.... This community has room for a little bit of everything. I love looking at sports card collections like this and admiring bit of my childhood.

I like this guy. He has a pleasant sunny type of disposition.

If you have the money to do so you can collect whatever you’d like. It’s all about establishing yourself in life first in order to collect all these amazing high end cards. You can still collect low end cards too. But It doesn’t happen over night. Even 20 years ago paying 2-3k is very very expensive. Not everyone has the bank roll to collect 1/1s etc exclusively. Personally I have to sell in order to buy a lot of the time. The hobby is for everyone, rich or poor, that’s the beauty of it. What a great collection. Love to watch these videos. It’s amazing to see all of these still in his personal collection. It’s amazing to see that he didn’t sell these during the boom. He definitely isn’t financially motivated. Glad to see that he enjoys collecting very much so. Great job Mojo. Fun to watch
Every time you do a video at Jimmy's it's a hit. The guy has great stories, makes sense and it's so refreshing to see someone who is a big time dealer but a real collector. These videos never get old at Jimmy's.

As a guy that PCs Duke players, I know what he is saying. These guys may not all have great careers but you saw them at the start and they gave you and your team great joy. You can’t put a price on that stuff

A lot of our cards have a story behind them. Those are the ones we guard. I have a story behind a autographed Al Klline from 72 with a great story. Now that is a large collection lol I loved this video ! I really learned a lot. Thanks for sharing !!!

Absolutely amazing even apart from the collection what a guy and what wisdom he has, everyone in this hobby can take something positive away from this and as a young collector myself I take away a lot from this video but maybe most importantly like he said collect what you love and love what you collect because at the end of the day it’s a hobby we can all enjoy

People forget how cool the hobby can be. I used to pc Ty Lawson back in the day and Carmelo because I liked them they played on my favorite team. I also PC’d numbered Lebron rcs. Weird I know but this whole chasing the bag is getting old. Needs to get back to the roots.

I got no lessons from this as a newbie to the hobbie tbh. It was cool to see, but how much of that was the fact that he had a job where he was making money and pouring that money into the hobby? Can’t anyone do that with money?
